Because it did the exact same thing.
I skipped og hyrule warriors, because of this and played it when HW Legends came out. So yes, it felt pretty bad when I played it the first time.
 
What if they picked an Armor Knight besides Kellam, but put him in the game with the same stats for like, the easy-mode option (in case you want even more power). You don't play him, he doesn't show up on your roster or the minimap, he just kinda... appears and pushes a lane.
 
Oh nice, Lyn is going to be in Warriors.

Warriors does have a class change.

It's just restricted to the OC's, and only the OC's.

I just hope we get more 'secret' chars that arent from any of the 3 seen here. the fact that the 3 dlc packs are all just more of the cast of the games they're already representing just makes me sick. Celica is literally there cause "oh yeah, Echoes happened didnt it?" and Lyn cause the most popular waifu (I love Lyn but she WAS #1 and popular chars sell games, many times more so if its a popular girl). This game just screams a lack of respect and acknowledgement for anything pre 3DS era cause even Shadow Dragon has a paltry 3 characters so far. If THIS is what we're getting then sorry but I'm skipping it.

I do like a lot of the chars the game has in it but just these casts get stale to me. I want Ike and someone out of left field. Owain and Cordelia are certainly popular enough to not qualify as "left field" at all. What a waste.
 
Japan genuinely could not give a damn about the GBA games that aren't Binding Blade and they hate Tellius for the most part

Jugdral won't exist until they remake it
