Fukua Story Discussion

Ok so i just realized that her story makes her fight all the characters made from most recent to the original of Filia

I knew something was up when I fought Big Band first, then Squigly, then Marie(!!). I didn't realize that until after I beat Peacock.

Would fit, one of her souls does astral project, and Braindrain is all about getting inside of someone's head.

Shamone can't see anything that's why samson seems to be angry/grumpy all the time...
Also.. Fukua only manifests on the morning, where Filia's dreams are recent (and has time to put the makeup on the mirror)
Note:This is obviously not ment to take seriously.

I've checked everything. Unless it's a secret combination, there's no way to know.

That's exactly what I thought.

Annie is now officially in some way, included in a story mode instance.
If I'm not wrong.. She is now in the game in some way (a single illustration counts).

World dommination.. slowly but surely.

On Skullgirls.com, they made Annie canon long ago with making Parasoul a closeted fan in her profile.

I know that.. I'm refearing to the fact that when you boot up the game.. Annie can be seen making an appeareance in some way.

Edit: heh.. sorry I didn't found an amazing glitch or something I was trying to say: Annie is in the game.
 
What I really want is for the nightmare maplecrest to be a playable stage in other story modes or the true story. It would be a nice switch-up.
 
The new Art you get for beating Fukua's Story Mode is there in the Gallery. Remember she's Filia nownon canonically so all Filia art is now is Fukua art :PUN:

Interestingly enough, "The Dreams We Left Behind" (the OST for Nightmare Crest) isn't in the Sound Select. I also noticed that Big Band's cut scenes were finally added to his gallery.
 
Eventually we'll get the individual bits of story art for Big Band, which I guess will be a bit of closure for me.

So that's what it's called, eh? I thought it would be something along the lines of "The Lives We Are Trying to Replace."

I can confirm this, it shows up when during the Painwheel vs. Painwheel fight in her story.
 
That post credits seen had me giggling.
Also the art in this story mode is super cute.

Shamone is inside the head of Samson who's inside the head of Filia whose head is being worn by Fukua. #WeNeedToGoDeeper

way to defeat marie on nightmare
1st - j.MK j.HP j.HK chain. repeat until part 2
2nd - j.HK crossups. Since she doesn't fastfall with j.HK against Marie (probably bug), you can't stagger her with j.HK j.HP
3rd - Projectile super will stagger her. Use all your meter on this and j.HK j.HP her face

Or you could mash buttons... she is really easy.
The real bossfight took me an embarrassing ammount of 5 times, it just make me wish there would be a harder arcade mode where you fight buffed versions of the normal cast (Nightmare arcade is too easy).

Weird. Filia-faced!Fukua has makeup on, but Filia (and her removed face) doesn't/don't.

Whenever they get the VAs back in to record the DLC tag lines, I hope they get Christine & Del to record some Fukua specific lines.

And one has to be an intro that goes: "GENTLEMEN! BEHOLD!"

No wonder Filia is trash! It's just Fukua failing to pretend to be Filia! :PUN:
 
That'd be fun, but it'd likely have to be done for free. Since Fukua supposedly has two other souls though, would she have a double voice effect? (two voices, not Double's voice)
 
She's made of two souls. She doesn't have two "other" souls.

Also, something interesting I noted: there are two versions of Nightmare Crest. The one that appears in Fukua's story mode and the stage preview has purple clouds. The version that appears in Painwheel's story has black clouds. They don't appear to switch if one selects "Play Again" at the Encore Performance menu.
