You never know, this could be Capcom's master plan to bridge Mega Man and Mega Man X's stories together. And after the climax where they reveal Zero and the movie's winding down BAM cliffhanger for another terrible squeal that will never come out.

You ever heard of Max Brooks? Wrote The Zombie Survival Guide, and World War Z, both fantastic books that are like, top 10 Zombie stories/books ever made.

D4 got a second season announced then Swery up and left several months later, that whole thing was weird.
 
his health was pretty nuts then from what I understand

maybe he just needs this to decompress and we can go back to Bawstin another day
 
He had disagreements with the studio.
Anyway, The Good Life appears to have kickstarting on Fig.co, which is a bit different from Kickstarter, when you back it, you're kinda putting shares into it.
I'll still support it once it officially starts though.
Even if it is probably not gonna come out until 2019.

There is a much more expensive option to invest and in return profit from the project, otherwise it's usual crowdfunding affair, I thought? That's how it was with PoE 2 at least.

I may support it, I really dig Swery, but his last team had no technical ability and as far as I'm aware we don't really have a track record for the new one, so I'm not entirely sure yet. I've only ever backed Indivisible.

I'll probably support it myself, I haven't been this connected to a game in a very long time, though I do hope he has a good technical team for it.

I'd long since lost any sort of hope, after all, it has been 10 years, but it's still not fun to hear it. The set piece and ending sound pretty awesome too, shame.
 
So let me get this straight, it's the Yakuza engine but in Fist of the North Star, while also having some of it's open world craziness?
Need some more details right fucking now.

I'm glad the Yakuza Team is doing this, presumably this is a break/downtime game from Yakuza as they figure out how to take the story from Kiryu to a (presumably) new character or hand the rest of the story to a previous one like Akiyama

As a Yakuza fan, I heavily doubt that. Yakuza combat is fun, especially some of the styles in 0, but it's no God Hand.

Part of that chatter is Fist of the North Star though. I'm fine with it having a separate thread, I just don't see it getting much activity except during active release, and even then I don't know that it'd be a lot.
 
Secret of Mana remake is coming. I'm really hype now. I hope it sticks true to the original and maybe uses a very similar soundtrack??

Since we're talking late clover/early platinum: I still wait for a current-gen or a PC-Port of Madworld, even though such a thing it seems unlikely.

(A current-Gen-Port of Okami would also be nice)

Uh, you already got the same thing, Kamiya said he wanted to do Viewtiful Joe and Okami not that long ago. Devs expressing the desire to do something doesn't mean that they're about to go do it, especially when they don't have access to that IP. Not that Mikami or Kamiya couldn't just make a follow up and call it something else.
Though in some ways Kamiya did that with Bayonetta, he has a tendency to build on his past projects even if they appear to be different. DMC > VJ > Bayo > W101 is a pretty clear path in my mind. Can't comment towards Okami fitting in or not.

People have been saying this is what will happen to capcom for years, with hopes of Nintendo taking in the Blue Bomber; Thanks to things like Street Fighter, Phoenix Wright, Monster Hunter and Dead Rising, that will never happen in the current age.
