My Stepdad found a pair of random desktop towers. One of em looked nice so I plugged it up and found it running Win7. After pawing it's internal goodies, turns out it's not too bad. plugged my old power supply and vid card in and it's trucking along. Wish the memory wasn't DDR1, as I have DDR3... Anyways, what I'm getting at is I should be able to play the backer build on my "new" desktop =3 I'll give the preview build a test run in a bit, after installing a few more randomness.

Oh, this one isn't all that great. AMD Athalon ~2.2Ghz, 1.5GB DDR1 Ram =\ At least my video card works like a charm. My old desktop had a AMD 6 core ~3Ghz with 8GB DDr3.. eh, oh well. Maybe I can finally get back to doing my 3D animations =D this I will say: it's damn better than the shitty laptop XD
If backers who funded through BackerKit got out of hand with their money, would they be able to lower contributions? I'm hoping I'll make back what I need to for Indiv, but I wanna know just in case I don't.
Steve makes some awesome art of his chars. While that one's a newer one, I did get back my entire folder of Kit art and emotes =D
Anyways. I just remembered I've yet to test if this desktop can run the Proto. I did see if it can run Skullgirls.. it can to a point, but I can say for sure that I won't be recording (RIP my Ms. Fortune combo I was working on for Youtube)
^ I dunno if this'll help you, but I tried systemrequirementslab (dot com) and it tests for Skullgirls, 2nd Encore and what I assume is the Indivisible demo. I too doubt that I'll be able to record or even run the backer preview for the speed run contest (shame on me for not entering the art contest way back when).
Once again I was a little interesting to do a reasearch, so I decided to see what means the Mudra Heruka do. Specifically this one:
Not exacly the same, but very close and maybe, just maybe the gesture is different because of an extra meaning we still don't know.
This one is called Tarjani Mudra
"Tarjani Mudra — the gesture of vigilance — fist closed with the index finger raised. This mudra is usually found in images of protective or guardian deities and indicative of the need to be extremely mindful when approaching the spiritual path. The index finger is also representative of the ego which is the major obstacle to spiritual advancement. It also represents the principle of aggression and harm — aspects of personality which need to be overcome in the preparatory stages of spiritual life."
So if I want to get ridiculous deeper with the story of the game, maybe Anja need to overcome her alter-ego, Heruka, at some point to reach a good ending?
Oh, I found something REALLY interesting which connect the "Blood Drinker" Heruka and the theory I have with the Undeads.
But I will write it down later. Need to confirm it with more research.
-----------
So as I said I found something about Heruka. Heruka is not a name, but a title given to different kind of wrarthful deities. 8 in number.
Another interesting point is that Heruka is translated in Chinese and Tibetan as "Blood Drinker". However this only apply to the people who already had been dead. In other words it is associated with the absorbing ritual of the blood of the dead.
We already establish one of the Bosses is a Vetala, a hindu vampire be able controlling dead humans or animals at will.
So we have a connection with Heruka and the Vetalas.
I really hope people actually read this update. It would be so sad to see LabZero's social media get bombarded with "Where's the Switch option?" come early September. We already see enough "When is this game coming out?" over a year later.
Anyway, it's rough to have to wait a few more weeks, but at least it sounds like everything is in order now. What's interesting is that, once the Preview is out, they'll have roughly the same number of months as the original campaign, and they'll need to raise the same amount as the campaign's Week 1 pledges in order to hit that last Stretch Goal. Hopefully it will be enough time, but I guess that will depend on what everyone thinks of the Preview.
I'm really late to comment on this, but as somebody super into the Precolumbian Americas, Nuna's redesign is *absolutely freaking fantastic*, easily the best one yet (I wasn't too hot on many of the prior ones).
In general she looks way more interesting and has a, IMO, much cooler and more subtle precolumbian aesthetic to her then before, one that could easily fit into pretty much any cultural region, from Mississippian to Southwest Native American groups, to Mesoamerican (Aztec, Maya) or even Andean (Inca) and making her hair look like squash in reference to Three Sisters agriculture is a stroke of genius.
Even if she's not distinctly Nahua/Aztec themed like Tenoch, I could *easily* see her in the same "Not-Tenochtitlan" he's in and she'd fit right in.
Anyways, is there a upload of the animexpo stuff/the Q/A at the end anywhere? The twitch VoD is no longer there.

As I said before I would prefer if it had a
turn-base function like the game 'Septerra Core', nut I already know there wouldn't be one. I hope at least to be an easy setting so give more time to appreciate the cool animations of all the characters.
Thinking in real time how to attack/defent/to a special move/heal get in my way ro enjoy it properly.
I'm glad Xbox is getting a backer copy. I don't own one, but it's nice to know that they will not miss out this time around, unlike the preview build. Should get more press then from those youtubers who own a One instead of a 4
Managed to lower my tier for now, didn't want LabZ or myself to worry about me getting funds in on time for the pledge I'm going for. Trying to borrow money from my sis for it by the time the Backer Preview releases, but if not I'll just keep trying to sell my PC for it (which I hope I don't have to rely on yet because it's the only system we have that'll play it besides our stingy bro's PS4 ;_;
I probably wouldn't have to worry about this if I'd just had faith in the Indiegogo campaign :V

Yeah, I feel like that might be what they were going for. Story context can definitely play a part in redesigns as much as other factors. Along with the reasons they listed in the update, the outlined plot may have also required Nuna to be found in an area where her old outfit would have simply looked out of place. We'll see if that's the case though.

i understand where you're coming from, however i still prefer the kid design, her story is that she needs to get away from her father's coddling, get more mature, and realize that violence is sometimes inevitable, and her older kid design not only cements the concept of her inexperience and needing to mature, but it also makes me want to bring her into battle so that she can gain more experience be more prepared to defend her village when she is ready to lead. while i do agree with changing the outfit, and i don't hate the hair change (i also don't like it), i do think they should have kept her the same age. also my sister didn't like the redesign because she wasn't as cute as she was before (she's 7)

I've heard there's going to be a training spot in ajnas inner realm, so there will be a place you can admire the character's animations and get used to each character.
So I saw for the first time the new Anime Expo Panel of Lab Zero and get overblown by new informations.
So First we know one new Regions:
- Kaanul: It seems it base by a real Maya's dynasty, ruled by the Snake Kings. It is the closes Mayas had to an empire. Their worst enemies was inside Tikal which wanted to conquer. Take in mind the rulers are Snakes, is not difficult to see the last figure related with Kaanul Region, is a giant Humanoid with to snakes for legs. Or Just two giant Snakes really.
Other than that, The Iron Kingdom some serious bossies it seems like the corpse inside the machine look freaky.
Oh, I see she is a Queen, not a King. We already saw a more clear silhouette of her on an illustration.

Ok, so I heared something new I didn't knew. Different Time Periods?
It was a well-known concept of the game? Time Travel is involved? Each character will act like a Chrono Trigger?
Fug. Just re-read the update and realized something.
Is there any chance at all I'm getting the Backer Beta for both Steam release and the PS4? I know it sounds greedy, but hear me out:
On one hand, I'll have much, much faster access to patches throughout the Beta's lifetime through Steam, and there's a good chance I'll be able to give better, faster, (And, er, more "credible" perhaps???) performance and gameplay feedback than if i was running the console build. L0 has had amazing success with Steam as a distribution platform in the past. See: Every DLC, patch and re-release for Skullgirls hitting Steam not only first, but without any fuss at all.
(Also, certain getting-delisted-from-console scandals which shall not be named)
I know Indivisible is a more console-focused title this time around, but I still feel like Steam is their most trusted platform, and that any big changes in development, distribution, or even the area of addition content, will be dropping on Steam first and stress-free.
Buuut on the other hand, they delayed for weeks and weeks just for the Beta to be on PS4 and XB1 too, and I'd feel bad letting all that extra effort go to waste. But my main, and more regrettable reason, is of course that my PC sucks. I've had much more success (and fun times) with the PS4's one-button Twitch streaming than Steam's proprietary steaming, which is quite finicky on my PC and is seemingly an abandoned feature. I know i can at least run the Beta itself, but running it and steaming it is something i'm not so sure about. I need my buddy to see the beauty that L0 is creating, so PS4 feels like the more secure option to make that happen.
Sorry for the big wall of text, I'm really conflicted.
Use OBS. I don't trust Steam with anything other than downloading and patching my games. i even try to avoid it's "in-house" web browser as it's pretty crummy.
Yeah, I've streamed from my old-ish laptop using OBS, chances are you can do the same. It's pretty clunky and complicated, and better if you have a dual-monitor setup, but I figure if I can stream the new Doom, something that's less resource-intensive should be fine. You can even test-stream Skullgirls to see if the setup works, since they're on similar engines.
In the Anime Expo trailer there is a moment it showed inside the developer's office a wall with pictures of the enemies/bosses on 5 different regions. One of them is Iron Kingdom. At the end of the Iron Kingdom roster there is a giant machine which it have humans ribs on it.
