Down / Fortify: Apples “Confusion” effect on enemies, which may cause them to attack each other or themselves.

How do you like them apples?

Well, it looks like the two animations we saw before were... kind of different from the rest.

I feel like the cheery animation could be a bit more subtle but, well, she's expressing a cheery song anyway, but the fistpump still seems weird.

It's amazing that she just blocks with her bare arm though. Concept designer gets so many points for that one.

Mike seems excited for her too.
 
Zahra is everything I hoped in gameplay terms so far.
 
Well I'm not exactly surprised it's a reference given their track record!

At first I missed that her Level 1 is a regeneration ability. Excellent, she might work as the team's healer... I could also use barehanded Ajna.
 
The girl knows her priorities. Can't let the oud get hurt at any cost.

I think it's more to imply that she actually has some amount of practical martial arts training, she's just choosing not to use it because of her pacifism. You can see the muscle tone when she blocks too.


You know, as much as I thought i'd hate a character that can't attack.... this is probably the coolest character we've been shown gameplay-wise. I love the idea of stacking up those buffs/debuffs and thinking about what sorts of Incarnations she'd be the most OP with.

Unlike hard-support characters in other RPGs, Zahra's actually giving back enough to be worth the loss of DPS. Not only that, but her abilities are quite interactive and engaging, unlike the regular White Mage ">Heal Spam>Buff>Heal Spam>Buff>Big Heal/Res>Buff>Heal Spam ad infinitum...." you see in older JRPGs (Trinity from Warframe comes to mind as a notorious modern-day example of this as well). Choosing the right song for the situation and keeping it going will take planning, good strategy and possibly some aggro manipulation.

All in all I'm really excited for her, and I hope she makes it to the Beta at some point during its lifespan.


P.S, her mystery Level 3......I'm calling it before anyone else does.

Holy shit that's actually sounds cool. I love buffing shit in RPGs.

She goes up there with Dhar on my list of mains.

Team Invincibility for her Level 3 sounds awesome.

Hmm, I'll bet on it being a song that keeps the Iddhi Meter rising for as long as she's playing, or maybe a song that makes all of the buffs and debuffs active at once, which would be wild. Whatever it is, it'll probably be insanely good!

Is it no longer possible to edit our BackerKit pledges?
 
No, you still can.
 
But it's not letting me add to my pledge even though the deadline is the 31st.

Are you just doing add ons or are you changing pledge levels?
To just do add ons at the top of the page click "view confirmation" then clickthe add-ons tab at the bottom. Then click edit add-ons.

To edit your pledge level at the top of the backer page click the dollar amount under "your pledge level" then click "switch pledge levels".

Changing my pledge level to a higher one, but when I click it, this is all I get:

I still see the option on mine. Have you tried loading the page in a different browser or on a different device? It could be a formatting error.
 
Yeah try a different browser. Torch browser works for me.

Hmm, those notifications on your page say that your rewards are locked down for processing. I wonder if that might have to do with your card or something.

Unfortunately, that looks like something you'll probably have to take up with BackerKit support next year. If you contact them or LabZero as soon as everyone gets back, they'll hopefully still let you make some changes.

Yeah, they've been specifically saying Backerkit preorders would be closed at the end of the year for ages now

Since you're a current backer having documented technical issues, that might hopefully put you into a different category than most people. That might depend on the source of the problem, but it would definitely be worth your time to ask. They'll still be offering tech support to current backers next year anyway.

So, are accounts being charged tomorrow? I shuffled some extra funds into my checking account just to be safe.

I don't want to be that guy but........you should have thought about all of this a little earlier... Even though the deadline is technically the 31st it looks like they've already pretty much locked everything down, and the entire team is on holiday so nobody can really help you...
