Kill la Kill *WARNING SPOILERS EDITION*

My only issue is Patrick Seitz as Ira. They really needed a DEEP voice for him. The Ragna voice just feels extremely out of place. Patrick should have been Senketsu, that would have fit so well.

Then again I probably won't watch the whole English dub anyway. I already watched it in Japanese, and I'm not much of a consume twice kind of guy(though there are exceptions).
I also think Ryuko sounds a little too boy-ish, but I'll probably get used to it. no problem~
oh and I don't know if this was confirmed already, but I mean considering it's an aniplex anime, there's an English dub out of left field, and a few other mist-thin factors my mind smooshed together, this is probably going to be licensed(broadcast?) by AS and then all of America will know not to lose their way! I look forward to it!
HEY! Nozawa isn't so bad. (Her voice as Goku will make more sense if you start from the beginning)
And yeah, this now has a very good chance of being on Toonami, including the fact that it's one of the most requested shows (including DBZ lol)
 
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the VA personally, it's just the voice actually annoys me. Like I really can't deal with it. There's certain voice types that make me really upset, to the point that I have to stop myself from suplexing everything within a 30 foot radius. A notable example is Cthylla in Chaos Code, which is hilarious because she's my main.

Helps to keep in mind that Ryuko was super tomboyish for Japanese anime, so a really boyish voice helps over here.

Fair enough. I think Goku's English voice fits him the best, but I really like his JP voice. It could be because his JP voice still has the childish nature in it which sort of corresponds to how Goku is still a child.

Dub's not bad. A couple of voices need work in my opinion, but all in all it's good.

I called it on Steve voicing Inumata. He just loves voicing his intelligent/tsundere geek characters. Also, I'm surprised that Sarah is Nonon, not that there is anything wrong with that, I just thought she was going to have a more insane role being mainly Nui. I'm still hoping that Erin Fitzgerald is the voice of Ragyo.
 
Aniplex dubs aren't really shining examples of quality to begin with, but it just seems like they tried to make it close to the Japanese version as humanly possible. I think some of the best dubs are ones that try to do their own thing.

I'll bring up another uber-popular show from 2013 that also recently got dubbed, Attack on Titan. ADR Director and living legend Mike Mcfarland is somewhat of a conductor when it comes to the shit he works on. He does his own things with dubs while still being true and respectful to the source material. AoT's dub almost completely ditches the original Japanese script and builds it back up from scratch. Even the voice clips for Titans are radically different, from what were just loud echoey people trying to sound like monsters, to alien-like screeches (that to be honest are sort've awkward but hey.)

KlK's dub seems to be doing the total opposite and depending on who you are, this might satisfy you or irk you.

I've seen a few pieces while wandering through Skullgirls and Kill la Kill roleplay blogs on Tumblr. Might wanna check there first.

I initially thought Samson's VA WAS Seitz.

But nope.

Samson's VA is a boot.

You are probably the only one. He's definitely using his angry Ragna voice for Gamagoori.
