Nah unfortunately no. KI was run on a ultra 64(?) or something different for the emulator
 
IGN has some a stream of Orchid and the Dojo they want to showcase, http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/10...iller-instincts-orchid-training-mode-and-more. Some interesting stuff so far, but I can't shake this SF4 feeling the gameplay is giving off (Not that that's bad).

I enjoyed the SNES game, along with that music CD that came with it (cheesy as it was). One of the few games I would play with my dad, who used to spam Spinal's low sliding kick and showboat afterwards. Not knowing fighting games at all, I didn't really know blocking was a thing, but got past that eventually beating him with Orchid and Jago.
 
Liking how Orchid playing (those dirty cats lol) and her stage location/theme (Lyrics just like Jago stage) is pretty epic with the destruction the Helicopter causes.

Some tidbit details I caught.

- They talked about few details like the online will be "GGPO like" (They met up with Tony Cannon).

- Ranked Mode will most likely be a "Win to gain something, Lose to lose something" format as opposed to leveling up by grinding win or lose.

- Xbox 360 Sticks to play on XB1 for KI III they are not sure that depends on MS.

- Not giving much details on whatever Kinect interaction KI III had yet since they were busy making/enjoying the game.

- Rage Quit people won't steal your win if they leave post KO while you are styling on their character.

- Accessories can be mixed or matched for each character. They showed off a Warrior Helm Jago with a different blade and a exotic looking helm on Glacius that makes him look similar to a Halo Elite for example. Interesting to note is that effects the character portrait on the UI.

Also they are about to show off the Orchid trailer in a few min with a "possible surprise" at the end of it so stick around for it.

The possible photoshopped pin symbol resembles a radioactive warning symbol. I think that fits a possible Fulgore power source more than it would anything related to Cinder.

Besides, he's the literal box art boy for Killer Instinct - I doubt Fulgore will get one-upped by Cinder.
 
Am I the only one who finds it weird that B.Orchid now looks more white rather than Asian? She's Jago's sister and isn't he like Tibetian?

Yeah, they managed to make a skeleton look beefy.

Still loving everything in this game except the lack of a PC release
 
Yeah the ropes really make his build look bulkier. That shield is also nicely designed.

Im really liking her new design the more I see it. With the toned body, she looks like an actual fighter now, and less like an extra from Soul Train. Also, LOL at all the people that are saying she looks like a man; it's Injustice all over again.

Nice reveal with Spinal. Still hope to see TJ Combo down the line, and a PC release in the future.
 
So Penny Arcade basically confirmed that Fulgore is taking the last spot. Neat but still kind shocked that Combo isn't apart of the starting cast, guess there won't be any funky soundtracks for a while.

Yeah, B.Orchid was my main back in the day and although I like her redesign she is appearing more white rather than the racially ambiguous look she used to have.

Well, I had a feeling it'd be Fulgore.
It was only a matter of time, da?
 
I'm very curious how Fulgore's redesign will be. I think out of all the 8 characters revealed, his change will be the most radical.
 
Even though I thought it was gonna be Cinder I'm glad Fulgore is the 8th character(because he was one of my mains). Penny Arcade spilling the beans about Fulgore isn't gonna make Microsoft to happy. Someone is getting fired.
 
So after Fulgore is added for the 8th slot I would say season 2 predictions will be the following in no particular order.

9. Cinder
10. TJ Combo
11. New character (To keep things fresh and would follow pattern of season 1 having a new character added)
12. Riptor
13. Kim Wu
14. Maya
15. Tusk
16. Another new character (Doubt Eyedol/Gargos will be back but wouldn't mind if they did).

A few weeks later...

B.Orchid is revealed and she's a Rekka character. Not the Fei Long type character with 3 identical Rekkas, but the kind with Rekka mixups.

Well one thing I did hear was that they want to later on make Shadow Jago play differently, so lets hope they do that.
 
Aw, come on, cut the guys some slack... microsoft is pushing it to be a launch title. The game needed at least one more year to reach its full potential. and even with all the content in the "to be in game on season 2" drama, its core seems darn good.

only wanted it on PCs...
 
EHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhh...it honestly looks like they need to stick that guy back in the oven. I think even a hovering T-Pose of their unfinished Fulgore model would be more hype.

Anyone notice that foggy beach area with a pirate ship in the background could be the potential Spinal stage?

The background of Fulgore could be his stage as well, but its too unfocused to tell. Looks like a factory of sorts.

That trailer was hype. Now my urge to buy an XBox One has risen from -500% to -465%! They really made an impression on me!

And yeah, it's no surprise that Shadow Fulgore's already cooler than Shadow Jago. Now we just have to wait a few months for them to turn up the lights. I actually do hope the release is strong enough that they can justify continued development as planned. I at least want the game to be done before it finally comes out on PC.

That's not Shadow Fulgore. I don't think there even is one at this point. That's the new regular Fulgore.
 
Why is it that in KI1's Training Mode, you're just fighting a CPU opponent in an endless match. No dummy options or anything like that. Will wait for those patches such as Command Lists for the characters which can be accessed from the Pause Menu.
