as for Mind Gem being a close range command grab which leaves the opponent in a stun state.... uh......

it's okay? i guess? Would have thought it act like those meter gain assists in Marvel 3. or like... those meter charge taunts that Felecia/ Thor has.


here is game play footage.

as you can see... Frank's face is uh... not looking too hot.

also he now has two camera moves. the normal snap shot... and a delayed Tripod. I don't get why the tripod is in the game since snap shot seems to work just the same the last time. [basically snap shot is good and with certain assists you can pick up after a picture even if hitstun scaling is super high]

Other than that... it looks just like Marvel vs Capcom 3.5

basically new stuff is that Nemesis can Combo after lvl3 due to it leaving the opponent in a crumple state, it also poisons the opponent. and uh... Franks... lvl 3

1. Ryce stated there's apparently more reveals and a second trailer coming today, hence no Jedah

2. Frank's Level 3, Tripod and Servbot Head moves were things I actually thought were pretty cool myself.
 
Ugh, took them a while to make Nemesis's rocket launcher super not miss half of the time.
 
Congrats to Marvel and Capcom to leave us that unenthusiastic about fucking MvC at least, i guess.

That Haggar piledriver looked so ROUGH, even for the game standards. This is why camera angles are important.

but honestly this is just a poor art direction. i think the modeler isn't to take on the full blame.

Tbh with the whole announcing faces would be patched on day 1 and all that stuff, I really feel like the devs are pushed to release their game as fast as possible so I guess modelling looks rough because they don't really have the time to make better...

Then i guess MvC3 looked great bc of the cell-shading filter so idk why they didn't went with it again.

And oh, that's a nice looking stage at least.
 
I'm cool with getting MvC the day it comes out but I'm also super cool with waiting a few more months so the team can give the game an extra shiny polish. Because do we really need a repeat of what happened when they released Street Fighter?

Also Metro City. It's good.
 
pretty much everything has me bothered.

Spidey's voice bugs me a ton. it's too high pitched. Like this is college aged Spidey, he shouldn't sound this high.

oh wait... fuck... i forgot that Marvel Universe Spidey is rebooted to be back in highschool

Max is streaming MvCi footage at the moment. Says the only things to really hate is the art and roster, but the game is still incredibly fun, and hes much ore optimistic after more hands on experience
