Marvel vs Capcom Infinite

won't blame you if later on you uninstalled the game. I found it to be kinda bland in the gameplay department and tags felt like i was setting myself up for a birthday if i was off by a second or so.
 
After messing around with this for a bit, all I managed to do is prove that 2 things I was 100% certain would work, don't actually work. This clip shows off re-grounding the space stone box after activating the recently discovered Hit Stun Deterioration glitch. Then some loops. If this doesn't get patched out you'll be seeing certain teams consistently doing 100% damage in matches. Also, if you don't know what the HSD glitch is, it's basically the TAC glitch from UMvC3. When activated, It means that hit stun never falls below a certain level. I think it was originally discovered by G.X. https://twitter.com/kuuronn Oh yeah, final thing. This combo can keep going with a few more supers and tags and inflict a ton more damage but no character has enough health.

It does matter because of how meter intensive this game is and only having 4 bar max.
many characters from one touch off lights can get 70% < with good conversions and team synergy.

and if it doesnt kill you it takes you into forced oki by many strong characters while you dont have access to all resources and defensive options because of how fast it can be.

Yes, I'll just counter switch out of having my 1st character dead.
It may "not matter" due to counter switching, but if they exist then you might as well give up after losing a character unless you can just beat your opponent without getting hit.

Personally, the biggest shocker of the game to me is the fact that Lightning Legs is no longer k,k,k,k... but it's now a fireball Forward K. That and Hulk having an Air Dash using the edge of the screen. Caught me by surprise XD

A lot of what he says is pretty true. Like, for instance you can reflect Dante's gun attacks but not Chris. And the combo I did was pretty much a Copy and Paste from Ryu, who I was originally trying to do that with (was Ryu/X at the moment). The game is pretty bland and pretty much none of the chars felt different in their styles cept course the big guys.

This isn't uncommon with fighting games, especially challenging or not casual-friendly fighting games.
 
I feel like a $40 pricedrop three weeks after launch is a bit more extreme than normal. Also, buying MvCI for that much means buying the season pass would be more expensive than the game (Or buying three characters separately, because characters are $8 a pop Jesus Christ). Season Passes exceeding retail price does not happen within the first month for any even remotely successful game, unless the season pass is also $60 or some shit.
 
I got SFV for 20$ like 6 months after it came out. Granted 6 months does not equal... 1 month... But yeah

I got Skullgirls with every DLC in it for a similar price.
 

An inisghtful video for and against Capcom. Might be worth a watch.

So I have played the game on and off for over a week now and here is my two cents:

The gameplay is good. I had a lot of fun with the tag system and the freedom in making combos and team dynamics.

The roster was an issue at first, but the new characters were great to play. My current main team has been X / Dormammu (he is ridiculous in this game), though I still will experiment with other teams. I am also still experimenting with the infinity stones, each has its own layer of strategy (ex. with the power stone, you can use it at the end of a combo then go into a hyper move, tag in your partner and extend the combo even further, or use reality stone to have a constant projectile threat that prevents other attacks).

The biggest issue I have with the game is the graphics and presentation. Every time I see the select screen, a victory screen and even the main menu it bothers me how lackluster it all is. I have been playing this and SFV and the difference is night and day. Other games that came out this year such as Injustice 2, Tekken 7, Guilt Gear Xrd just make it look like a PS3 generation reject in comparison.

I care more about SFV and other current fighting games than this. I don't see myself playing this very often, but I will probably play it as the dlc characters get released.

Missed the point entirely

Hawkeye has more unique designs (including the one used in marvel 3). this one has some parts more similar to the original than it should.

Chris's model was used only once in 6 (twice in more than 10 if you count every single re-release) games. Not even REbirth and REmaster had it. Cute, but they hid the only defining factor of the costume in this promotional shot.

Nemesis wasn't meant for the same type of coat as T-102, as he was developed by Umbrella Europe and the side effect of the NE-T parasite was the muscle ripping in the arms, hence the different coat. In this model, it looks tucked in and doesn't match his build at all. More like someone just cut th body, pasted some parts from a Tyrant model from another game and made some adjustments so the rig doesn't ruin it.

In 2 cases, the alternate costume in UMvC3 was better made and more recognizable, in Hawkeye case, both are very similarly "eh" IMO
