Marvel vs Capcom Infinite

I just want Black Widow but I know it's going to be Sigma and Black Panther... Idk how to feel about either of them I'm only really interested in Venom and B. Widow but I'm excitd to try their mechanics and stuff
 
It'll probably be 2 characters.
 
sigma and black panther at least I'm 90% sure since sigma was the first character they said would be dlc characters. Then i would guess month after B.Widow + Winter Soldier and then final set Monster Hunter + Venom
 
I just find it so odd that Monster Hunter is the only one of these we've seen gameplay of (unless I've missed something).
 
You just want Black panther + Black Widow to make the ultimate edgy combo

My only wish with winter Soldier is that he gets Snake to voice him like in Marvel Heroes.

Bucky's had a couple different VAs over the past few years, so it'd be hard to actually pin down who they picked.
It's probably not Roger Craig Smith, though. He's already Chris and they seem to be avoiding doubling up on VAs in Infinite

Hello there, true believers.

I've had a sequel idea that I just can't get outta my head. In said sequel idea, I believe that there's enough room in the hypothetical roster for a second, male Monster Hunter, wearing Dalamadur armor, as MH4U is considered to be the pinnacle of the series by many.

However, I just can't decide what weapon to give him!

I've created a poll for several different people to vote on. (People from Reddit, Skullheart, GameFAQ's, etc.) This poll will help me choose.

Here's my ideas' so far.

Insect Glaive/Gunlance/Heavy Bowgun.

Insect Glaive is used for aerial transportation, crazy mixups, and using the bug for buffs. The two supers attached to this weapon would be Swarm, which is similar to Vergil's swords, and you can combine it with the other super, Bug Blow, to lengthen combos.

Gunlance is used for footsies and easy confirmed damage. Dragon Blast is this weapon's super.

Heavy Bowgun would work like Aigis' ammo meter in P4A. You have a set amount, but then you run out. Level 3 is Siege Mode, where the character gets unlimited ammo, and just onloads at a distance (It'd be a non-cinematic level 3.) Each individual arrow doesn't do much damage, but the sheer quantity of arrows does a lot, and there's little damage reduction like Peacock's laser super in Skullgirls.

The character would be a character you'd need a lot of skill to play. He'd be good at a little bit of everything, though. Videos for reference:

Charge Blade and Hunting Horn. The Charge Blade would be a stance-based weapon. You gain charge in sword mode, then switch to axe mode to use that charge for attacks. The super's associated with this weapon is the Energy Blade, which gives you higher attack strength for a while, and Limit Breaker, which allows you to get more charge.

Hunting horn would be a tool for specials and supers only. You'd play melodies to buff yourself and your allies. It'd also be this character's assists. The super's are Sonic Smash, a great super to DHC into if you've whiffed, and Euphony, which gives you all of the buffs for a limited amount of time.

This guy would be very up-close-and-personal. Video's:

Switch Axe and Light Bowgun.

Light attacks would be long-reaching sword strikes, while heavy attacks are close and strong axe swings. Super's are Demon Riot, a buff super, and the level 3 is Trance Slash.

Bowgun is used in specials. It's a zoning tool. Supers are Bullet Geyser, and Rapid Fire Rain.

Character is an easy to play, all arounder.

Sigma's LV 3 is the fighting wireframe team, nice

Panther looks really fun, also nice

characters are $8 individually with no option of bundling save for the season pass, not nice
 
@Dragonage2ftw well you could always go a different route. Maybe something like the Long Sword, Lance, Gunlance, or Insect Glaive. Honestly Chargeblade and Switch Axe could work and have those be their ONLY weapon. they follow through with traps, throwing items, bombs they can kick down the screen, status effect knives, and just basically make them a setup char with a big weapon.

That sucks, thankfully GMG sold MvC for $40 and season pass is a bit over $20.

Nobody is going to get behind this. Should they have used more of the interesting and awesome monster hunter weapons? Absolutely.

But there is no reason to make a whole other monster hunter character over something more interesting and showing off the diverse legacy of capcoms franchises

Also what a creepy way to start your long post lmao

AND even if they did do this (they wont lol) they wouldnt listen you YOUR ideas they would do their own thing... This whole poll thing is silly unless -you- actually plan on doing something.

I'm not even a minute into that video and I'm mad, nearly everything he says in the first 40 seconds is a lie, and the mission mode thing drives me insane. The game doesn't tell you what moves do anywhere or even how to do moves as certain characters. I don't know why this is not only supposed to be acceptable but friendly to new players. Mission mode should demonstrate the capabilities of your character and more importantly what they should be trying to do as a character, assuming you can't/don't put in optimized combos. The 10 mission limit across the board is bizarre, especially when almost all of them are wasted on "combo from special into super" or something like that.

Is this hard for me to work out? Not really, but I've been playing fighting games for years.

Sigma looks interesting, he made the transition to fighting game character quite well.
THough his Level 3 Super confuses me, I mean, yeah, I expected something digital/Sigma Virus-y, but why is it in the form of a Penance Stare? Couldn't he have teleports them to his lair or something?

Anyway, his Alternate Costume is his X5 design which I'm fine with.

I just wanted to share an idea for a sequel that I thought was cool to the community.

I didn't think that Capcom would use it (although it'd be neat if they did.)

because when Hunter was shown off it was at the Sony Conferences in Japan. It made 100% more sense to have her there rather than to wait a week later to have her along side Panther.

remember Monster Hunter is super super SUPER popular in Japan.

It's definitely the b e s t stone right now. The orb is really good. Honestly maybe too good. I think it should disappear if the sender gets hit. Often times I've had moments where I hit someone and try to confirm but then the orb hits me and my combo suddenly turns into my opponent's combo.

And reality stone wars just aren't very fun.

Yeah I was talking about Kirin it literally actively makes me less interested in Monster Hunter every time I look at it

I mean, ofc it had to be Kirin lol. Considering its the fan favorite armor for females given the skimpiness (no respect for bunny girl Bone armor). They coulda done something real cool for the armor but whatever, yeah? Barioth or Deviljho woulda looked pretty nice in this game's void of an art style much better than this and they have all the weapons to cover the styles.
