Ah. Pizza. Must be nice. I guess we can argue about meat pies with a cheese layer and tomato sauce topping vs the perpetual choking hazard from piss town.

I too hope that I can make it please send me your wishes so I may get lots of money to go. It'll be fun to walk around the area and if for some reason I get really lucky I also look forward to ranking fairly alright in the tournament. (Maybe I'll get enough to be on the board of srk rankings hehe)

Also does it get cold around this time or no?

and is the pizza really a pie?
 
It's always potentially cold in the midwest no matter the time of year.

No cop is gonna untimely make a bait on me and threaten my go. With a fresh new pad (no converters, hold the mayo) in hand, and the work I'm putting in to get back to where I was and then some, it's show time.
 
For those worried, you will be nowhere near a dangerous area of Chicago. You will be free to walk around comfortably.

To settle other worries, Giordano's deep-dish pizza delivers to the venue. I even have a promotional code for everyone to get their pizza fix with this year. Its one of the nice bonuses of having moved the venue location.

So maybe its too early to talk about rooms but is anyone thinking about getting there Wednesday Evening? That way you can just relax and play some casuals and do stuff while waiting for people to get in Thursday.
 
Yeah Last year I came in with most of my room + @Some Person on wednesday, and I can't necessarily speak for the others but I think we had a good time. If we had even more solid food options, it'd probably be better. I'd totally be down for coming down on wednesday again.

I wanna say people want to get a single suite so that all of SG can be in one area when we hang out. I know that the tournament has the 24/7 venue (thus negate the real need to have a dedicated place to play SG), but we still could look into it for the social aspect.

This is still a ways away, but I am excited already. Still coming off my NEC high, so maybe I'm more hype than I should be. But I just keep remembering how fun CB2015 was. 24 hour venue, though.

This place, judging by the pictures, looks pretty freaking ritzy.

And two story suites? Fuuuuuuuuuu-
 
Suite is $175 a night Fri.-Mon. That's $525 total. Divide by 4 it's about 131 a night. I can book this if people are willing to chip in a bit here and there + actual roomies. Just need some volunteers to help me out. I can make this happen. Just lend me your energy! (and money)
