USA [May 27-29] Combo Breaker 2016 (Chicago, IL)

Does anyone know Grizzy King? He left me a nice note and said to hit him up on Twitter as @grizzly-king, but that account doesn't seem to exist. There are like 5 "Grizzy King"s on Steam too and I don't know which one he is.

I'd wager it's this acount given the high SG hours and recognizable faces in their friend list.

Thanks for the memories everyone!

Also, thanks for in general being a pretty positive community to work with. Its been a lot of fun being part of SG's growth these past few years. Looking forward to what the future holds.

I've been trying to come up with sixteen *good* teams for this, tbh.
 
I talked to Kai about it after SNS. Per him, it's a possibility.

I've been coming up with team names since then.

Team Ultimate Mixup: Double (Squigly palette) / Parasoul (forward dash assist) / Squigly (default palette) (backwards dash assist)


The Rock'em Sock'em Robots: Peacock / Big Band / Robo Fortune

You don't want to overload it on solos, but the funniest ones are Peacock, Double, and Big Band.

Not for all the teams, though. Some should allow whoever bought it some leeway. Maybe.

Should do it where if someone pays more than $50 they can choose their own assists, and less than $50 they have to use assists that are preset for the team?
 
Big Zam: Player must go back to character select and mull over the possibility of other characters before ultimately deciding on Big Band's HK palette.

Nah, I think people should just hold that. That's what makes it more fun because people are forced bet on uncertainties and then may end up having to use wacky assists. I would also say no load screen switching for the char auction, too.
 
Nah, allow the order switching. It'll be more interesting not knowing what somebody might do with the team. Like, so-and-so is playing Team Annoying Bullshit Palette Swap Characters, and does that. The crowd will be at least a little hype to see that trick pulled.
