Nintendo Switch

Your name is easy to remember. Like, I'll only remember someone's name if they have like, 1 unused x. Anymore than that and I don't want to deal with them.
 
By the way, friend codes are back but they aren't the ONLY way to add contacts.

I'm fine with that. Would be even more if the switch could add people just by passing the portable next to another one (like NFC tags)
 
Holy crap, my dad surprised me with a Switch this morning! Said he walked into the store this morning and grabbed one of the 47 they had in stock. I guess retailers saying they'd have them in stock was true.

Of course this could be like the Wii U where we grabbed one two weeks after launch and no one really cared, but screw that I'm really freaking excited right now!!! Time to play Zelda!!!

... Wait, gotta surprise the rest of the family first :/
 
Call me when someone makes a Friend Code thread. In the meantime, I'll be playing Shovel Knight and Zelda on mine. (Got it this morning)

Don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but reported on Twitter AND demonstrated on Twitch Livestream well known FGC member Maximilian got a Busted Nintendo Switch.

Busted in that it refused to recognize Game cartridges were inserted into the system. THey spent all Saturday night/sunday morning streaming off of a friend's Switch instead.

We also got treated to a LOT of hilarious gif inducing moments with 1, 2, Switch! on that stream.
 
Obviously they thought this out. They just didnt think you'd notice. Its a conspiracy
 
So they actually function wired when attached then? That's awesome, I've been extremely disappointed in Nintendo's lack of wired options since the Wii. Does the Pro Controller do the same, or is it like the Wii U again where USB is only used for charging and nothing else?
 
You guys know airplane mode is for take off and landing right?

You want one to make fun of they recently said cellphones will interfere with Joycon reception. You know, the cellphone you have to have on you for the online features?

For some reason, Connecting a Headphone into the headphone Jack got the Cartridge slot to work. It jiggled something in the cartridge area since the Headphone jack spot is next to the Cartridge slot.
 
It's the next generation of cheat codes.
 
Even if I wasn't waiting for games that won't be out until late next year at earliest I'm really uncomfortable with all the stuff I'm hearing at this point about hardware issues, like the headphone jack thing is just...

Wonder how long it will take them to change anything, and what they'll do for people who got screwed.
 
Well we do have to remember that the PS4 had some issues at launch too, but they fixed them.

Now we have to hope the same happens for the Switch. I WANT them to be resolved. Games running worse while docked? Joycon connectivity issues? Fucking really Nintendo?

Of course. I can't imagine why someone wouldn't, does anyone actually want there to be a shitty device? I just feel bad for people who bought these and are having problems that aren't straight up "it doesn't work at all" because I don't know what they'd be able to do about it, even if Nintendo fixes the next batch.
 
Should have worded that like "They HAVE to be resolved".
