Two options here:

If you have one shellder with perfect IV's, breed it with a safari shellder.
It will take, like, an hour or maybe an hour and a half to get perfect or close to perfect parents again.
Either way, you don't have any spitbacks from the entire breeding process at all? How is that even possible? Were you just constantly releasing your spitbacks the moment you found out they were imperfect?

I don't have a safari Shellder. I got a single Shellder from someone on here and while I still have it, it's female and has the Shell Armor ability and was pretty bad for breeding, but I got what I needed eventually.

And yes, I generally release pokemon that are imperfect because I don't want to have 20 boxes of Shellders. I only keep imperfect pokemon if they have a partner that covers all the IVs of a partner in which I could aim for a perfect child. Once the whole process is complete, I release everything except a perfect parent (usually when I'm breeding egg moves), and the child (which I obviously use for myself)

In that case I meant to release the father (Whose only purpose was to egg move), but instead released the mother (Who I was going to give to Sanity) on accident. So I had to start over from scratch because I'm a nice person.

So now I have the Shellder I am going to use myself, and the Shellder for Dr. Sanity and will be able to trade for that Kabuto tonight.

Two of my safaris have shellders. Duke's and Trevor's, I believe they are both from the 3ds friend code exchange here. If you want, I can catch you one, although if you still have some shellders to breed with it probably doesn't speed the process up all that much.
Also, you should keep at least some of your 4/5 IV spitbacks. They're still worth something. You can find a lot of people willing to trade other spitbacks (which makes the breeding process go a thousand times quicker) or battle maison items so you don't have to grind to get choice items and stuff. Also when you find yourself in a situation like this you don't have to start over.

The sad thing is I'm probably the most proactive breeder in this thread who is also willing to just give shit to people who ask for it. I don't not have Duke's or Trevor's sadly, I'm bad at organizing myself and getting friend codes. I typically just add people as they need things. Regardless, I have a perfect IVd pokemon for every water group as well as field and monster so I won't have to worry about not having a water safari, it's all good. I'm able to chain breed IVs to various egg groups as I need them.

Anyways, you wouldn't happen to have a Kabuto would you?

Post game is very bare bones. If you've completed Looker, then all that's left is the 3 legendaries in the game, one of which is such a pain in the ass to get you'll probably give up on it.
But forget that, there are more important things to do:

The legendary bird is fucking stupid. I guess if I had gotten Zapdos I might have actually put the effort towards catching it, but I got moltres. Not worth the effort at all.
On another note, the fact that you can get 3 perfect IV's on a legendary off the bat is nice, and probably divides the number of soft resets you have to use to get a good one in half, but it's still stupid that you have to soft reset at all. Give in-game legendaries always perfect IV's, include some way to screw with their IV's so that people can have their 0 Attack for foul play, 0 Speed for trick room, hidden power sets, etc. Just make it so that soft resetting isn't a thing anymore for people who aren't hunting shinies, because ffs... Keldeo, Terrakion, Landorus, etc. are all pokemon I would welcome onto my team if they weren't so damned annoying to get.
 
I like to think I'm a good breeder, if it helps give an estimate the info that pops up during friend battles says I've hatched nearly a 1000 eggs =p. Also horseman have you added me yet? I haven't checked my 3ds in awhile so I don't know. But that's mainly because I already have the pokemon I want that are available to me currently. Any other pokemon I want are in or involve the safaris.

I believe I added you, yes.
Also if there are actual traders here... I still have scythers and larvestas and pinsirs. And the pinsirs have quick attack and close combat now (they used to have just quick attack.) Working on a Chansey with heal bell and seismic toss right now, so those should be done soon.

I remember getting in an online battles with a passerby and for whatever reason to pass the time, the game shows stats for each player passively. I laughed so hard when it said I hatched 5,670 eggs while my opponent didn't hatch a single one. Over 5000 eggs! Holy fuck I have no life.
 
I breed things got like 500 eggs hatched. Man I thought my hatch count was at least decently high.

Why do I end up late to a lot of threads, anyways I will be getting a 3DS this Christmas so I join can in the on the latest Pokemon game which is one of my favourite series.

I bred 1 perfect and 2 5 IV no ATT ralts, does that count?
I would be breeding, since I really want to make myself a team, but college n shit so I'm way too busy to do anything. I might be able to get something cool done over Thanksgiving, and should be able to get a lot done around Christmas time.

By the way, question: If I hit the punching bag in Super Training does that add EVs by itself? If so how can I wipe a pokemon's EV's?

Punching the bag that's always there does not add EVs. It does, however, add a chance to randomly find a bag out of nowhere that you can use to actually add EVs if you so wish. You can wipe Evs with a Reset bag which is coloured pure white.

I found though that using the Power Item + Sweet Scent Horde Encounters method for EV gain is 100 times better for EVs... like.. hella better...

Yea that's what I'm planning on doing. I tried looking at Super Training and I didn't get it, so I don't want to take any risks screwing up my perfect Ralts. Thanks.

Oh and you can also use certain berries like the Qualot berry to lower only one stat's EV at a time.
So you don't have to worry about starting completely over if you get some EVs you don't want.

I believe that person needs to be online at the same time as you for your first encounter of their 3rd pokemon.

1 - A lot of Friend codes f the skullheart members (mine and Trevor's included) can be found in the Friend codes thread. just post some of your info there and i'll add you yo the list.
2- i'm a horrible breeder (still on project SAND after over 100 hatches, i think), but it still made me stop ALL game progress after beating the champion (yeah, not even mewtwo), so i can't help much people in that department.

3 - Sorry dr. Sanity for not adding your Safari list info to the main topic. Let my 3ds on for the entire sunday to get info on the people i've added (third pokemon n'all) and there's still people i can't get info, so maybe i'll send some PMs in the future to refine your list and put it where it deserves

Actually, you both have to have been online at the same time after the person who owns the safari has defeated the elite four. After that, you can catch the 3rd pokemon whenever.

Because I would have given you spitbacks, I've got what... 4 boxes of them? After I dumped 2 boxes and wonder traded another? Yeah, I had absolute shit luck with breeding them. I have perfect parents now and it still takes me at least a full box every time I try to breed a 5 IV perfect one again. And then it took one batch to get a perfect pinsir because the world hates me.
 
That shiny pokemon identification program seems like too much work.

Literally the most difficult thing is finding friends with the right numbers and setting it up. One of those you only have to do once and the other requires you to be social.
