Skullgirls: Second Encore content that was previously exclusive to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita releases will soon be available on Windows, Mac, and Linux through Steam on the 13th of April this year. Through a purchasable expansion, you will gain access to features such as voiced story mode, trials, survival mode, and challenges.


In addition, this package also contains all of the previously released downloadable content available for Skullgirls including each of the characters added since release as well as the expanded color palette selections for every character. However, be aware that there will not be a price reduction for the package if you are already in possession of the DLC. Those who own the DLC prior to purchasing the second encore content will be getting a discount.

To make up for this, the Second Encore Upgrade will be available for $10 USD for a week following its release, and will later be priced at $15 after this period ends. For one third of the price of purchasing each DLC individually, you will gain access to all of the DLC in addition to the many new features that were previously offered solely on consoles.

Also I saw that theres no new achievements like there was in the ps4. Mildly upsetting but honestly its no skin off my back.

I guess we can't count for additional discount for those who already own character and color DLC? :P

Nope; the charge is actually mostly for the VO and the work that went into Trials and Challenges and Survival. The DLC characters are basically free in it. :^P

Yeah I expected as much. Cause I must say that if I didn't have the DLC this would be an unbelievably good deal.
 
Aaand I'll buy it day one and go through all the story modes again.

This week had been really good to me in general. This made it even better!
 
Not going to lie. I don't really care about the voiced stages and survival mode and what not. But I will buy this solely due to the fact that Lab Zero is awesome and deserves every penny from Skullgirls, especially after all of the red tape bullshit they have been through that prevented them from receiving so much money.

Hey, I wasn't expecting anything like that at all! So another 17% is infinitely times more awesome than what I expected. :P

I can buy it but it's 10$ instead of 7.5$. Maybe script is still rolling out or something.
 
I don't mind shelling out the extra $2.50 to Lab Zero so I just grabbed it anyways
