Second hit of Big Band's j.MK can't be used after double jumping

I'm not sure if this is intended or not, but while the clarinet-themed j.MK can normally follow up off of itself the follow-up isn't usable after double jumping. It seems this is the case regardless of whether an enemy is hit by the first hit or not (which is possible if they are launched by s.MK>s.MK>s.HP). Is this intended or just a bug?
 
I have a feeling it's intended. Similarly Cerebella's j.HP loses it's glide if you double jump.

Was just about to say that. Having two jumps and then another move that carries you through the air even further is too much, so I think that logic is the same for both.
