Game Underground is proud to announce Foxwoods Resort and Casino has been chosen to host Game Underground Tournament Spectacular 3. Located halfway between Boston and New York City, Foxwoods is the ideal location to bring players together from both regions to do battle. Free parking, affordable restaurants, night clubs, bars and of course casino games are just some of the perks available to enjoy in between battles. Gamers will be able to compete for thousands of dollars in cash prizes over 3 days in this ALL AGES event.

Last year's GUTS at MIT in Boston had over 400 gamers in attendance and thousands watching online. With Melee gaining more entries at each event, Project M getting more exposure and the release of Ultra Street Fighter IV it the perfect storm to make this New England's largest event of all time.

Additional tournaments, pot bonus info, and details will be announced soon.

Discounted Hotel Rooms will be extremely limited and will available at the beginning of June. Make sure you call to make your reservations asap.

Tickets for GUTS 3 will be on sale in the first two weeks of June.

Game Underground runs MTG nights on Wednesdays; there's a community for it. This is also why WWE is in, there's a scene for that which meets on Mondays. Jamie's pretty willing to add anything that people will show up for and support.

I'm seriously thinking of making the trip up there from jersey just for shits and giggles, but man, cash is gonna be tight b/c 3 weeks later is nycc and god knows I'm gonna want to spend my money on useless crap from vendors.
 
Slight update to the schedule... the release date of Smash 3DS has changed. That game won't be out by the time this event rolls around, and as such it won't be included on the schedule.

If you're planning on going, it's best to reserve your room sooner rather than later so that you can take advantage of these sweet deals (I haven't reserved my room yet lol)

I know this feel, also being like an hour and 20 away. I feel like I'd be letting down a potential drinking buddy or two though, so I may stay a night.

I understand, and I might just end up staying overnight myself. Still have a few months to decide!

Even more BIG NEWS for GUTS (which doesn't involve Skullgirls but for those of you who like Smash it should be interesting news)
We are happy to announce Clash Tournaments will be our main stream for all things Smash Bros at GUTS 3! It will be awesome to have CT Chibo and his crew to provide us with a pro level stream to our fans around the world!

Of the things in this video I'm most excited about there being a Dunkin Donuts right outside of the main ballroom.

Not gonna lie, pretty hype for Fuddruckers. One near me closed down and haven't had a burger from there in a long time.

Oh and then there's that little tournament thing they're holding, what's it called?

There's going to be online registration, it isn't up yet. I will be sure to let everyone know when it is.
