[Sep 19, 2014] GUTS 3 (Ledyard, Connecticut)

Yeah they're sold out of Friday rooms. I believe Jamie said he was working on getting more at the group rate, I'll ask him about it tonight.

Hotel room update! We have ten more double bed rooms being opened up for us at the Two Trees... after that we have legit sold out of that hotel! You won't even be able to buy a room there at full rate. After this there will be two options.. 1. Get a hotel room at the full rate at one of the main tower hotels at Foxwoods (I'm gonna see if there is any discounts but I can't promise anything and it will be MUCH more expensive than the Two Trees)or 2. We may be able to get a discounted rate a a nearby hotel about a 5 min drive from Foxwoods. (this will be much cheaper than the main hotel) Basically when I post that these are available JUMP ON THEM or be out of luck.

For those of you still looking for a room, I'd recommend keeping an eye on the Facebook page for when these rooms become available for purchase.

@Dolfinh I've never done this booking thing before so if you could help me out with it you'd be my hero forever, or at least a good while
 
That's awesome, when I had booked my room all that was available were rooms with 1 King Size beds, so I just changed my reservation to a room with 2 beds. I'm pretty sure a friend or two is coming down with me, but once I know for sure I'll let you guys know if I have an extra spot or two for people to crash

In all seriousness i'll keep a close eye and snag a room as soon as I can. @WarpedEcho and @cloudKing211 get first dibs if i snag one since they asked me first.

I was gonna room with peanuts but looks like I can still get a room. If I can get a fast response, I'll book a room if people still need a place to stay.

Ok I just booked a room and good to go. Sorry peanuts but I had to take it upon myself to make sure people are covered. I'm sure you can get a 4th np.
 
Hey guys I just wanted to pop in and thanks MCPeanuts for really helping to get hype and help for Skullgirls! He really helps support this game at GU and the entries for GUTS 3 for Skullgirls is awesome already! I believe there is still some rooms at the discounted rate and if they sell out I may be able to get us deals at a nearby room. Make sure you join the FB group as I am updating hotel stuff there a lot!

It's all good. I've already had to turn a few people down because the room was full so I'm sure I can get a 4th... I just have to try and remember who those people were >.<

Hey i'm booking my flight tomorrow. do you care how early/late I arrive at the bradley international? I was trying to find something that'll get in earlier than 7pm but that may be difficult.

If I'm working (which I assume I will be) coming after 7 isn't a big. I can adjust things on my end though should you happen to have an earlier flight.

my options are basically get there close to midnight or get there close to noon. I'm heavily leaning towards getting there close to noon.

A couple updates regarding the hotel situation. This is only relevant to people who don't already have hotel rooms, and would like them. If you already have a hotel room you don't have to care about this.
So the first hotel is now SOLD OUT for us! Great news I have a second and third hotel lined up for us! I can give a web link tomorrow! This hotel is just a half mile away a little further than the last hotel. The other one is 3 miles away but is much cheaper. More info about that one tomorrow!

I will write this up better when we have the web links but here are the booking numbers for both backup hotels! I think you will be happy with the prices!

The group is loaded at the Bellissimo Grande. Guests may beginning booking by calling the hotel directly at 860-535-9924. I have submitted for the web link for the Hilton Garden Inn and will have it in a fw days. In the meantime your guests can call directly at 860-885-1000. The group code for both properties is “GUTS3”.

Whidh day is Skullgirls happening? As luck wouldn't have it, The 21st is an important day for me so I would have to leave the night before.

Saturday. There is actually a schedule on the official GUTS 3 website, which now that you have reminded me of it I should add to the first post.

When does registration close? Cause I haven't registered yet and I was thinking about spending my immediate money somewhere else if I still got time.

I believe you can register online up until 9/19. You can also register on site but it's $10 extra if you do.
