im assuming that will be a PS4/Vita exclusive thing along with any other secret things that may or may not be in the game?
 
It'll probably be patched in the other ones or something. Stuff like that doesn't sound as taxing as some of the other Vita/PS4/PC-exclusive stuff.

I can see it now, the trailer will begin, show off all the usual gameplay stuff, cut to voice story mode things...

So, if we have voiced story mode, thats casting for a lot of side characters. Basically everyone one the potential DLC char list except for: D. Violet, Taliesin, Hubrecht, Regina, Beatrix, Ottomo, Scythana, Roxie, Panzerfaust and Isaac. All with voices.

BUT ALSO, characters like Irvin, Zane, Avery, Tommy Ten Tonnes, Vitale, Lorenzo, Beowulf Documentary commentator, Double's imp-lady form, Riccardo, Lawrence, and... best girl Rachel Wong. Just to name but a few

If this is really happening, which i kinda still cant believe it is, thats gonna be alot of VA's to organise and pay, in some cases for only a couple of lines of dialogue. I wonder if any of the lab Zero team would be involved. I mean we now know Mike's been interested in voice work before, and i remember on stream during the IGG Mariel was she would audition for Eliza (this could have been a joke but then remember she did sing In a Moments Time on stream as well).

I dunno.

Do you think we can get Troy Baker for Squigly's dad lol

I honestly really do wanna hear what voice Annie gets. ^^

Of course I still cant wait for hearing Minette possibly X3
 
I really hope they scale the filter on double's voice WAY WAY BACK or remove it entirely.

She talks A LOT in that she shows up in everyone's story but she's pretty incomprehensible most of the time.

I can only imagine Beowulf story portrait of his goofy bewildered face and asking "What are you even SAYING?"

I'm gonna have to agree with Zazz on this one Double in everyones stories is someone I really want to hear talk...cuse does she always have the filter or can she properly speak and it only sounds like that when she's not undercover anymore...I mean I kinda assume that's the case. I just want to understand her better ^^;
 
I think they'll get fewer people to do more characters at once; like Alex Ahad HIRSCH and Brad Neely do.
As for Double, well..I played Arakune's story and didn't cut my ears off, anything is better.

Edit: damn that was an odd lapsus.

Christopher Corey Smith voiced both Ablus and the penguin ref, so while I don't know the castings myself, I think it's fair to say that for some of the very minor characters, you'll see some repeated names in the credits.

i hope that double's voices will change to match her more current forms at the time, like more human in nun and all her other forms. i feel like her filtery voice is just for her normal form. i hope shes got a cute nun voice for nun double and a sensual voice for elegant and i hope zane sounds like a douchebag

Only thing I want is to make double's voice more clearer. because doubles voice is too good to sound like a voice modulator taking a bath

Can we assume some of the VAs are going to be reused for other smaller side characters?
 
I hope Aeon sounds cute... iono I see her having a cute voice kinda... I'm probably alone in that regards. ^^;
 
Maybe all this talk about whose voicing who should have a thread somewhere else, considering this is the beowulf release trailer thread.

A - It's not a leak if the trailer was released. We're not mad at anyone, nor should anyone else be mad.
B - I'm fine not being able to go "Surprise!" about this. Either I have other things to yell "Surprise!" about, or I can take some time off from yelling. :^P
