Quick question concerning the ps4 theme. Do i need to have a ps4 and download the game on the system to have it added to my account library of themes. Or can i just buy the game now and secure the theme prior to having a ps4. I hope that makes any sense. I just want to get it for my vita now until i get myself a ps4.

As mentioned here, we're experiencing an issue where people who buy the game on PS4 in EU territories aren't properly being granted the theme. We're working on fixing that. REGARDLESS, you do not actually have to download the game for things to be added to your account library. If you buy 2nd Encore RIGHT NOW, it'll add the PS4 version to your library, then when the Vita version becomes available it'll add that to your library as well, and once the theme issue is worked out it should add that as well.

And no, you don't have to actually have a PS4 or download the game to "get" the theme.

It's not just us. They are NOTORIOUSLY bad - even within Sony - for being unresponsive/uncommunicative and generally hard to deal with for just about everyone.

Its just unfair. We can fight her online and we can fight her in arcade mode, just not PLAY as her. Basically, unfair bullshit all because SCEE WANT to look like shitheads for no good reason, they WANT people to hate them for the constant delays.
 
@MightyKombat you would be better off complaining to SCEE through Twitter, Facebook or their email than posting on here (if you aren't already doing so). Render and everyone else at Lab Zero obviously sympathise (this is even worse for them) but there isn't anything they can actually do other than say "yeah, it sucks :(".

I've tried Twitter and Facebook, and they've flatout ignored every message I've sent about them. I dunno if they'll even GLANCE at an email. I appreciate the sentiment though.

I'm just sick of all the constant nonsensical delays for no reason other than "Hey let's taunt Europe PS3 players." I swear, I do NOT want to pay for her if she DOES come out for Europe in January of fucking 2016. Now THAT would be unfair.
 
She's still coming out, dude. And she'll be free. Really no need or use for yelling at Sony EU on Twitter. I don't know why @Lex suggested that, cuz I've never seen them respond to anyone on there. :P

Well, I thought better to yell at them where they and others can see it than here where it really won't do anything other than allow him to vent his frustration. At Least if it's done on their Twitter it makes them look bad (well, still not much effect but better than nothing I guess).

I agree with you that this is super frustrating, and I wish we hadn't made it work like this. The reason it happens is that we have to release the patch in all territories so that all of them can still play each other without crashing, and sometimes the patch in each territory gets approved well ahead of the actual character DLC. Considering this patch gives you the alt VO packs, the new announcers, and the gameplay updates that coincide with RF's release, at least you didn't have to wait for that.

I fully understand the frustration, though.

Checked the PS Store this morning on console and there she was. Just did her story mode, its such endearingly silly stuff. Also wasn't she gonna have a Metal Sonic palette at one point?

So Robo-Fortune is released in NZ PSN now, so I guess the wait for EU is over :)
This might not be the appropriate place, but I can't seem to find the alt voice packs? I might just be stupid, but the alt announcers are there yet the voices aren't.
This is a minor problem anyway. Take a well-deserved break, Lab Zero!
 
So I'm working on getting all trophies now... do they still unblock in sparring mode in versus?
Also I read that there is one that is glitched? the 2 weeks one.
The challenges and trials are going to be tough lol

Press up when selecting your character's palette. Alternatively, hold down the buttons you would normally use to select the character. The name will turn orange indicating you have the alternate voice pack.

Yes, you can't get it even if you do what you're supposed to. Patch will fix that.
Also, you can't beat Challenge 7 by surviving, so the challenges one is also unobtainable that way. :^P

Has anyone figured out Eliza and Beowulf? I haven´t been testing them so much.. I guess that Beowulf is based on his lvl 3? Since it kinda makes sense in the description.

Also any tips for Cerebella trial... 4? after the Kanchou what is the timing with c.mk?

So I did her story mode. Endearingly silly. I also checked her palettes and I love the Samus colours but wasn't she gonna have Metal Sonic at one point?
 
Is there any news about the progress of vita version or updates on when it will come out? I'm still hoping for it over here.

Yeah same. I know yall said like 6 weeks after PS4 and it hasn't been that long so I'm not stressing it, but if there are any Vita updates I would be interested to hear them :)
 
5-6 weeks. Probably more like 4-5 now? There was about a week delay from some emergency patch stuff we had to do the week following the PS4 release.
