Skullheart is back!

Tis good to be home. Thanks for all the hard work getting the site back up and running. It must've been rough having to start over from scratch.
 
Now to abandon the IRC. Also, crap, need to figure out how to get my favorite font back.
 
Clearly, the site nuke can be traced back to some Marvel fanboy. I knew they couldn't be trusted, those bastards....

I'm going to ask the question that's on everyone's minds right now.

Precautions have been taken incase something like this happens again right? You know what I mean, tighter security, frequent backups, multiple server locations blah blah blah. I don't really know what I'm talking about with this technical mumbo jumbo. I just want to know if this will ever happen again?

We're moving to a server that actually does the backups we pay them for, so that's something at least.

I can't promise that this will never happen again, simply because the future is never certain. But we've learned from our mistakes last time.

What happened to the wiki?
The wiki went boom with the rest of the site. We may add it again in the future, but not until after the forum is back to normal. In the meantime, check out the SG section in the SRK wiki.
 
I don't care if I already did this on the last forum; this announcement calls for it!

My endless thanks to the people who got the forum back online! I hope that this will once again allow our great community to thrive... plus I was getting kinda tired of the Steam Community page. :p

The old site took my account with it. Had to make a new one. Should add something to this effect on the FAQ
 
So some people's accounts have been lost and had to make new ones, right? I think I was one of those.
 
I was definitely one of those who lost their accounts and had to make a new one. Good thing I didn't mess around with mine too much.
 
Happy that it has returned! Figures it would go down days after I decided to make an account after stopping my lurking habits around here since Squigly's initial reveal for being a playable character. But it is good to be onboard again.

When it literally just got back up there was a 50KB limit on avatars.
Had to use Dio before going back to Cool Guy Hazama

Oh has the limit been lifted? If so I'm going to use a higher resolution of this eyeball now.
 
Never really posted /lurked the site much but i'm glad it's back. the steam forums were terrible, just full of silly posts and complainers.

Anyways I remade mine without testing, and as the name was not taken it just shows it did not make it from the loss.
 
10 days late, but just want to say it's great to have the site back
 
Lets all celebrate and hope it doesnt crash again any time soon.
