The VA is just awful. Doesn't capture Terry's energy at all.
 
This just feels wrong....and......I don't know the word, kinda cheap? I mean, I know it's called SNK Heroines, but I think most people wanted to see Terry in his original incarnation if he was going to be included. I don't really see why he absolutely had to be gender-flipped and turned into a bland fanservice-doll to be let in. I find the implications pretty sexist. Hell, the change actually reduces the appeal of his inclusion since Terry is generally thought of as a SAMF in the SNK community to girls and boys alike. Why not let a few SNK guys have a little fun and wear swim trunks and leather daddy get-ups and all that? It would help them cast a little wider net because I still have no idea what insane little niche SNK is trying to sell this game to....

Maybe I'm misreading this, but I just think it's insulting. Maybe Ash is feminine enough to be let in the gate without having to leave his identity at the door....

which is a great reference for SNK to pull.

and I really think you're looking too hard into this.
 
a better reference would have been Goeniko, who was a fuckin' fanart phenomenon that eventually got official acknowledgement and appeared in a mobile spin-off

plus incoming fans should get to feel the pain of koko desu ka
