According to the update, he comes from a "reclusive island nation" (the chinese inspired one?) and works for Mara...
He has some cool moves, too!

Replaying FE Echoes recently makes me think Lucien Dodge (who plays Leon the pretty archer guy in it) would be a pretty good fit. Love his voice and his take on the character and I feel like if Ren sounded like that it'd be super nice!
