Tekken Thread? Sure, Why Not.

Woke up this morning and saw this.


Not quite what I expected as a Tekken character, but he looks cool.

There's Jack-7 and anime tentacle monster Yoshimitsu in the game woo.

There's also this news, which depresses me. These changes to me don't affect casual play at all so much as they nerf high level play and make the game more frustrating to play, from what it seems. Then again I haven't played it and not a lot of people here seem to care about such changes so w/e.

Well looks like Kazumi will be my main in this game. I wasn't even really interested in T7 because none of the characters got my attention, but after seeing Kazumi I'm sold.

I honestly am annoyed at all the Mishimas. I mean, we have Asuka, Jin, Lars, Heihachi, Jinpachi, Kazuya, and now Kazumi. That's a ridiculous amount :/

ay yo, I have been on a tekken high, and have been loving the Jack shit they've been doing over the years.
I used to main Hwaorang, now I realize i am shit with him, and after hearing he'll play a bit like Baek in 7, makes me wanna pick him up again.
I also wanna learn Lei Wulong, if only because I love the obligatory Jackie Chan homage that he is.
I'm scared of learning all the stances he has, so, any tips?

also, is Roger confirmed?
 
I was always more of an Alex fan over Roger
 
I FINALLY DID IT!
I took my terrible tekken skills and poor fine motor skills and beat Combot training!
I don't care how much of a scrub i am, I finally did it!
I hadn't even been playing for years and I got back into the groove!

;A; now to play team Jack-Jack!
and maybe Feng, Roger, Lei, Leo, the Bobs, Jin, Lilli, Sebastion, and maybe Asuka.
oh and Baek.

can I say that I hate Josie solely because of the fact that she cries when she wins?
like... this character just feels like the least confident character I have ever seen in a fighter.
everybody hates Lucky Chloe for being too "anime" when Chloe is probably one of the characters that's most hype.
like, her win quote is "see you next time! BYE!"

whereas Josie is like
"I WON! BLOOHOOHOO!"

I just like that it's a mother/son team working together to find their missing family member whose just yucking it up being a huge shit.

okay, Asuka and Jin technically go by Kazama, and they're cousins.

also, Jinpachi is probably not coming back.

I know they go by Kazama. I just meant they're related, but its probably fine. I main Asuka anyways, so I'd rather have her still in XD

Hey, if people can hate Lucky Chloe for her appearance, then I can hate Josie for crying.

Like, hopefully context will help. But I am super not excite for her. And Miguel's story was sad and he never cried when he won. ;)

I just said she looks un-confident.
Her intro also doesn't really give her the impression of "I'm ready to fight" either.
Like, Tekken takes place normally during the king of iron fist tournament, so the last thing I'd expect someone to say is "huh, I have to fight?"

I mean, Dan fucking cries but he's still hype while doing so.
I'll admit I wasn't all too clear about the crying in general, but my points about her not being confident still stand.

So that is why Akuma is not in Street Fighter V, he's too busy kicking ass in another game. I hope that more Tekken characters are added instead of relying too much on SF.
