Customization stuff should be restricted from random online tbh
Leave that stuff in lobbies and offline so you can meme with only your trusted comrades

I'm really new to Tekken (read I've fucked about for an hour or so in Tag 2's training room), really like Steve Fox and King so will probably be attempting to main one of them.

Anyone else picking 7 up on PC? Would definitely like to get some friendly matches in.
 
I'm gonna continue to main Xiaoyu and Heihachi. I want to pick up M.Raven and Eliza.
 
I've Been a Jack Main since the first Tekken Tag and every game since, my man never fails to beat people down.
 
Okay, after playing some last night (thanks Gamestop early release) I can safely say, Hwoarang, Chloe, and Eliza are on my 3 mains. And I'm gonna have a pocket Shaheen and Jack. Maybe I'll dabble a little with Claudio.
 
I have not played a Tekken game since Tekken 4, just never had the money or interest to get 5-6 or TTT2
Needless to say I am gonna be fuckin' lost during this whole story.
Is Panda/Kuma still good?
 
Here's the thing about Tekken, the tier list is pretty flat.
Like, some characters are better than others. Plus, Tekken 7 has every cutscenes included from every previous Tekken game. So you can catch up on what you know from the past games.

Plus, this seems to be more story driven than previous Tekken games, even more than 6, so what I'd suggest for that game is to just read a plot summary.
 
This game is a lot of fun, really glad I picked it up.

Currently downloading Tekken 7, hopefully my laptop can run it even with the dead Radeon card (If it does it'll probably be on potato graphics). I haven't played Tekken since I was a little kid playing Tag tournament and 5, as far as I can remember I really liked playing Lee, Bryan, and Lei (Who unfortunately isn't in 7).
 
Well, the DLC characters are part of the season pass.
Sorry to say, they're probably made post production
 
I tried guys. Any suggestions? Only alternate thing I thought to do was using the suit pants, since they covered her legs entirely and gave her the boots, but honestly they just looked way too plain.

I find the character customization options in T7 to be a lot more lackluster than I was hoping. I'm going to have to query Bandai Namco about giving my man Feng a proper suit. I want to look good beating ass.
 
Been playing around with a bunch of characters. I will probably stick to my main Lili for the time being, but Lucky Chloe is a lot of fun. She is like a capo fighter except she plays a lot smoother due to the fact she doesn't have to switch between stances.
 
Turns out it does run, albeit at a sub-60 framerate even on low settings (maybe I should lower my render scale even more?). I've decided to pick up Dragunov, he's got that brutality and smoothness that I like in his moves just like Eliza (the SG one, not the Tekken one lol), and tbh the breath he takes before finishing his rage art is satisfyingly creepy.

Decided to look into the new Tekken a bit and OMG!
She's in the game! ◠‿◠)

Got kinda worried at first since she wasn't mentioned in the character roster when they where announcing peeps that were gonna be in the game but soooooo glad she made it!
her playstyle is awesome!╹‿╹) (And the only one I play ~ w ~;)
 
The wiki and other characters refer to him as a guy, but being that his voice actor is female, I don't doubt that they're purposely keeping it sort of vague.

I thought It was pretty much confirmed in Tekken 6 story referring to the dood as a girl that she was a Girl. Are they just backtracking/retconning that in Tekken 7?

If so that would reeeally suck, It's hard to explain but I feel like it would take away from Leo's character if she was a guy. =P

I think this is all just Harada fucking with us.
In Tekken 6, she was androgynous but voiced by a woman
TTT2, she's female yet voiced by a man
And now we're back to bein confused on Leo.


Harada just likes fucking with everyone on this.
 
Or you know, Leo is trans. That could be a thing.

Considering how many changes there are, and that Harada WILL fuck around with fans, I'm probably more right. plus, the Tekken wikia has wacky claims about Leo being male like: there is no debate, Leo is male.

I think it's more of the development team trying to keep Leo's actual gender ambiguous because they originally had said that they developed Leo to be liked by fans regardless of gender.

Also, in Tekken posters that show the men and women standing beside each other, wherever Leo is standing, the manual of that Tekken will say the opposite. Namco is pushing the idea "do you like this character regardless o what bio they have?"

Hell, even harada has said in interviews, "Leo is a girl" then immediately right after put Leo's bio as "male"
