I don't need to learn from Sage. but maybe after a whille Sage might let other people become specific character Teachers. @dekillsage you need to expand the school, more and more students are coming. Let's give them a bright and happy future in the Canopy Kingdom.

I'm calling the position of the 3/4ths Swing Club. Big Band teachings, with a mix of other characters and how they help out BB.

Was the best, learned a lot, will participate again sometime in the future to put Eliza/Double/Squigly to the test
 
Yea I'm gonna have to change my mindset with how I play and start trying using some of those jumping confirms sage was doing on me. Also gonna work on some of those woolfy resets you all showed me. I know I still have a long road ahead and I've been playing solo to work on my neutral game as well. Skullgirls is hard...

You can watch sets with Woofly in them on Mr Peck and Woofly's channels, maybe theres some footage in Skullbats EU recordings on someone like zeknife's channel too

I'm working late today, but if I get home in time I'd like to get another lesson. I need to get more time in playing Eliza's neutral, especially against aggressive characters like Filia or Val.
 
well specfically the very characters i play which is Fortune, Filia. i used to have big trouble with band but i understand how to get to him. i'm also very terrible in bella mirrors . i want the training so that i can fit bella anchor instead being forced to put her on point.
 
If I get home from work in time I'd like to be apart of this. I think my neutral is just kind lacking all around for my characters.

I run Cerebella / Eliza at the moment and I want to become in-tune with Cere's tools more than anything else, dealing with certain situations-- I'm having extreme difficulty with Peacock Filia as of recent.

My goal throughout is to be armed with enough tools to at least take top 3 at salty from now, considering I can usually make top 8+ if I put my mind to it?

block low react to overheads. I can't actually do it myself but some people have the ability to do it. You can also reversal in between some of her mix ups. Do me a favor, find the parts of your matches where you're getting hit by resets you're having trouble with and I'll tell you what you can try in those situations.

Do you think playing me will help you, or do you think just talking about it and me showing you things will help you better? Either is fine, but I can't do both today because I don't have enough time.
 
Okay I have a very noob question: anybody can answer it. I don't wanna make a thread for this stupid question.

I saw your twitch last night dekillsage. You were playing as Filia, Peacock and...I dunno, it was late at nightIwassupposedtobestudyingbutwaswatchingyourtwitchandfellasleep

and I noticed in your Filia air combo you'd do something like
IAD > mp > IAD > mp > hp >hairball H > st.lpx2 > st.mp > super long combo stuff stuff stuff.

And like the millisecond hairball H landed you on the ground you did s.lp to extend the combo.

When I try to do it, my combo drops and I get punished or grabbed in a match. I tried it in training mode and I can't do it. Am I supposed to mash my ass off or...?

What am I doing wrong? Everyone else can do it and I can't. T^T

the previous two rounds would probably show similar mix ups but this is what bothered me the most

Really if it's not too much trouble it's fighting parasoul in general that I don't understand because I rarely play against any enough to know what's going on and I would like to work on that.

Playing you will help much more than talking for now, as I can go through the archives and view what I need. There's only me, MikeZ and Some Person who play Bella at my locals. I've completely fallen off the wagon with her and I still use a busted SDE combo as my bnb. I'd very much like to play a person who's got some raw potential with her.
