MORE STUFF WOO
okay lemme get my notes together
I'm gonna start with Link and Zelda as characters
Link is a young woodsman who lives on the outskirts of Hyrule City with his only remaining family: his grandmother. Link's parents were stirred to adventure one day and left Link in his grandmother's care, they haven't been heard from since. He's a bit older than Link's usual appearance in the series as he's more of a young adult as opposed to a mid-late teen (I place him at around 21. he's more defined facially with a bit of a jaw and small goatee). He's known by many of the people in Hyrule City, especially the ladies, where he's known both as a charming enchanter and a devilish heartbreaker. There's a quite a few ladies that are out for his heart... and his blood. He's got several friends in good places and a wide information network, so he always got a good ear for the latest news. He's good with kids and animals and generally just a friendly and affable person, if sometimes insensitive.
To contrast, Zelda is a stern and serious type with little time for nonsense. While a mystery to the kingdom, she is beloved by the court as a princess who is unafraid to speak her mind, allows for people of all walks of life to serve her and in the court, and as someone who makes decisions with the sake of the kingdom in mind. She's more... physically quiet than Link, not as prone to gesture or exaggerated movement. Due to her focused nature, Zelda isn't as sociable to the citizens of Hyrule, but won't completely turn a blind eye to them. She's very dignified and treats her position as something very serious, even after she's faked her death. As such, she's... not one for humor. Most of Zelda's comedic moments come from her being placed into humorous situations and Zelda's own exasperation at her circumstances, as opposed to the more animated and openly emotional Link.
While their interactions aren't exactly bountiful, Link and Zelda's moments together are generally characterized by how starkly different they are as people, with the two of them bouncing off each other silently (plus some physical comedy, the height difference between the two gives Zelda the perfect angle to elbow Link in the ribs. A good silencer for any unneeded shenanigans).
I'M REALLY TIRED NOW SO I'LL SAY MORE WORDS ON NPCS AND THE WORLD AND GAMEPLAY TOMORROW WOOOOOOOOOOOO
