Its just....without a surrender feature, matches being totally random in regards to the map you get, the game can get seriously one sided and feel really frustrationg. There are a few other grievances I have with it, but this isn't the right thread for that...sorry for getting off tangent.

Nice try sucker, I only bought loot crates once and got her winter army coat first try and haven't taken it off since!

...Which means yes, pretty much every skin of her is garbage and I wish they'd just give her the ones from Heroes of the Storm already

Yes. Just do 5 ai matches, then do 5 quick play matches. Both have to be done with a friend.

Got her skin last night and it's my favorite mainly cause doing her boost makes siren noises.
 
Ah ok. Thanks. Wish I could just get the D.Va skin. This game is whack. I miss playing Battleborn.
 
I've gotten at least 2-3 people into Heroes with this event, I can handle with some people not enjoying it

You might wanna come back for Week 4.
You get 10 lootboxes for free if you play 10 more games, in both OW And Heroes of the Storm
 
I mean, it's my first day with the game. I might warm up to it. Just seems confusing right now.
 
Its definitely not a game you get into immediately. Even though i have major gripes with it, it does have fun moments. I'd say there's something; some map, some champ, that resonates with everyone. Its just hard to find amidst all the rng and bullshit characters XD
 
Overwatch has a million problems with it, too, and I still play it. Only get mad at it like twice a day!

Personally I didn't want the Genji skin. I can't play him at all. I'm glad I got Amari though. I wasn't a fan of the Rooster Event one I got (which was my only skin for her at the time)
 
Anybody else still need the 5 matches on hots to unlock d.vas skin?

Got the D.Va skin. I still don't know how to play HOTS but it's growing on me. Might play it on occasion.

Overwatch Anniversary | YEAR ONE | Thank You, Heroes!

I had a fun first year and hope to enjoy more in the second year.

Overwatch event in New York is going on right now and this is what's going on...

Jeff said they do plan to repeat all prior seasonal events, mostly the same, some changes/new things added to the mix. Good to know.

Kaplan had previously confirmed that the summer games will be on a yearly schedule, and not tied to the real-world Olympics, as was brought up during the Uprising event thanks to Mei's spray (and sweater). That'd hopefully make Lucioball an upcoming game mode once again.

There's a lot more to the NYC event than just that sole announcement, though.
We now know of more emotes and/or sprays.

Update on the event in New York regarding the anniversary event.

Sombra and Orisa are getting their laugh and sit emotes.
Tracer is getting an extra emote since she was short one.
Reaper is getting the shrug emote that was confirmed as a spray earlier.

They are also looking in to doing cross promotions with their other games like WoW, Diablo, Starcraft, etc. Mostly for skins.

How lucky for me that I own all of these (except Starcraft 2)
I look forward to them, hope it means Goliath D.va or Thudner Guard Zarya
 
I'm curious what's on the docket. I'm glad to see past events will return, since I've missed quite a number of them.
 
I'm more curious what they'll do when it's time for the Winter Olympics
Are they gonna say
WOO WINTER GAMES?
Because, like.
That'd either overlap with or go right after Year of the ______

But then again not as many people care about the Winter games.
 
It's a price worth paying, they all had other good skins anyway
 
Yeah, I dunno what they were thinking with most of these. I was hoping for more lore-y ones, not these weird over designs
