The Palettes of Skullgirls

Painwheel palette is most likely Donovan, don't know where you got that it was Deadpool.

The mask looks exactly like Deadpools. Red with Black around the eyes and white pupils. Plus, the cancer-y looking skin and red outfit.

And are you talking this Donovan?

Where are you seeing the resemblance? Like okay I'll concede that I don't think it's Donovan anymore, but I'm having a hard time seeing Deadpool in this.

I have to agree with Golbat, I don't see Deadpool.

Sturm is pretty great. Man, I haven't played Advance Wars in a long time.

Some other things:
1. I hope Big Band gets a Peacock palette.
2. I hope Peacock gets a Big Band palette.
3. Parasoul's No. 8 should be adjusted to look like Adam because Adam is the best Egret.

Apparently Valentine 19 and 22 color palette is different now.

Is it radically different or just some minor touch-up?
 
19 might have a different eye color. Otherwise it's pretty much the exact same.
22 is BRAND NEW. It's Taki from Soul Calibur. It's her SC2 version, maybe to commemorate the game's HD rerelease?

Well Fluttershy's eyes are blue so it makes sense :3

Double needs more color palettes, so far i only use 3 when i play online.

Had the thought entered anyone's mind that either of these Cerebella palettes might be based on Reala (NiGHTS)? Initially, I thought only the latter, but I looked at the former, and found that the colors lined up all too well...

and the same goes for painwheel. i cannot seem to find a color for her that I love. some are decent, but nothing she has makes me go THIS IS AMAZING like sturm big band.

I'll give you that this one could pass as Reala, the only problem being the use of purple on the legs (the only purple on Reala is on his neck-ring thing), the not-pale enough skin, and the red eyes (Reala has blue).
It could pass, yes, especially with NiGHTS-Bella being in, but I won't say it's outright based on it.

You too, huh? I'm seriously going to at least try out Big Band just for the Sturm color.

(Also I'm passing on the three internet points, you made that too easy.)

Mexican Painwheel (Day of the Dead) is pretty amazing. One of my favorite colors in the game.

Hey guys. We got new colors.

I got the ones for Big Band figured out.

But I'm having trouble identifying these two new ones. Maybe it's cause it's late at night, but I feel like I should know these two but have no idea. Any help would be appreciated!

I believe the red hair Filia is a color she had during the early builds of Skullgirls, not sure if its a referance but I have seen it before
 
@Goodbye18000, I watched your video and where is that Smooth Criminal palette? I think the one you're mistaking for Smooth Criminal is actually Q from 3rd Strike.

I was told white Big Band was Smooth Criminal based.
Again, these are only speculation until we get some confirmations.

I labeled the purple one as Big the Cat and a war broke out in the Big Band thread, with one side taking Big and the other Darkwing Duck. It's the second time I caused that, the first being when I did a video and labeled the Yellow/Pink hair Parasoul as Fluttershy, as per Mike said.
 
Also, when exactly did we get Shantae Filia (Purple hair and red clothes)?
 
Pretty certain the pink palette for Big Band is supposed to be Nonon from Kill La Kill. The color scheme matches her uniform more than it does Gato's, and it would make more sense considering that both her and Big Band use an arsenal of brass instruments as weapons.

Am I the only one that thinks that Big Band's 9th palette is Big the Cat? Even the eyes are similar....

EDIT: I meant to say 8th palette.

I'm sure it's Big the Cat for the fact that Darkwing Duck has a black hat and Big Band's hats match all the other hat colors of his other references

Two new colors have been added. The amazingness of King Dedede band, as well as one that I don't know what it is. Any guesses?

It's Big O.

And, per usual, a video that's fully updated on costumes and such.
