The Smash Bros Discussion Thread

If anyone's interested, here's a link to all the current illustrations, logos and character renders in the highest quality. It's amazing how detailed the renders are. Look at Mega Man's eyes. It's scary. You can see the like, fake LCD eyes on the front and past those his like, lenses. Like camera lenses.

Also, if you want to print off full sized posters of the newcomer illustrations, like I plan to, this is the best for you.

I'm waiting for tomorrow to happen so I can go to Gamestop, buy DKTF, take it home, look at the case, put it in my gaming cabinet, put on my work clothes and go to work.

Can't imagine it would change the banana pulling :/ However, one screenshot with Mac shows an upwards punch...

I haven't FULLY investigated his current upsmash and if the first or second hit looked similar to that, but I certainly hope his upsmash is buffed in some way. Because holy crap his freaking uptilt doesn't more knockback than his upsmash :/

I was thinking "Diddy, what the Hell are you, a Monkey Kirby? Because you musta eaten Lanky or something."
 
Double post, yes, but does Samus have a Speed Booster attack now?

I personally have been hoping for a dash command (just map it to a trigger since two blocks arent necessary). It solves the dumb input for wave dashing and still gives plenty of mobility. Every character gets one short, directional dash while in the air and a maybe faster one with cooldown while on the ground (so it won't replace running). I'm pretty sure many will disagree, but I'd like a refined version of this idea to happen.

Uhhh... does diddy look like absolute shit to anyone else? The fur textures are stretching weirdly on him, and the part where his forehead and his hat meet looks strange, especially on his forehead.

It could be a different part of the animation. Like, the kick launches moments before she looks back.
 
A few of of on smashboards entertain the idea that it could be the banana item. I'm not saying it is, but I'm noting the possibility.
