I also hope we get a pretty good MOTHER stage this time.
I don't care if Fourside returns or not, but we gotta have some more MOTHER stages.
That aren't New Pork City.

well to be fair all the mother games were handheld at one point

Are there any anniversaries of the Earthbound 0/1/MOTHER 3 release coming up?
 
Nope, all of those were released in the timespan of April-August.
 
Not soon. We'll get more ferocious updates next year when the game is closer to coming out.

Yea I guess I would call delays "ferocious" updates.
 
I swear to God if we get delays I am going to be a sad panda.
I don't think we will though.
It was delayed to add Sanic.
We already got him and there's no other hotly requested character besides Ridley

Giygas as stage hazard, progressively transitioning from the more passive giygas to horrifying tiled giygas, with all of his lines fully voiced.
 
On the subject of Mother characters, I would be satisfied if we had Ness and Kumatora. Of course I would like more, but I think we can trade up from Lucas ;)

Yeah, I do like Lucas but I would kinda like it if Sakurai cut down on clones/luigis.
But then again, Toon Link.
If Toon Links in I don't think Lucas has much to worry about.
 
Duster would be perfect for the game. He have different powers than ness (his tools + rope snake are amazing), it's funny and it'd be one of the first limping thieves in a smash game

and he gets dem bitches

Considering Sakurai's policy of "handheld themed stages on 3DS; console themed stages on WiiU" and the fact that MOTHER 3 was on the GBA, any MOTHER stages are going to be MOTHER 3 related on the 3DS while MOTHER 1 or 2/Earthbound will be getting a stage on WiiU.

My personal hopes include the boat ride near the end of the game or Saturn Valley for the 3DS stage (though Saturn Valley did technically debut in Earthbound so it could also be a WiiU stage) and either Summers or Magicant for the WiiU stage.

No, Arena Ferox has a Colosseum background. This looks like the Kid Icarus stage.

While I fully agree, there still is Ike who swings his sword around like a club, but still I would be awesome.
 
I'm all for Magnus being the new Ike. Magnus is pretty damn cool. Awesome in Uprising, too.
 
If we got a new Kid Icarus rep, Magnus would be pretty much the last character I would choose. In a universe full of gods and goddesses, you chose the cliche impractically large sword guy?

See, describing him like that only reminds me of my burning passion of having Adam in Skullgirls, so yes. I do choose the one human in a world of Gods.
