The Steven Universe Thread! [SPOILERS]

Spoiler: So, here's the plot (from Wikipedia because I'm bad at explaining)

In Steven Universe, the world is protected from evil by the Crystal Gems, a group of intergalactic warriors who draw their power from special magic gem stones. The four Gems are Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl and Steven. Steven is a boy who inherited a gemstone from his mother, a Crystal Gem named Rose Quartz. As Steven tries to figure out the secrets to using his gem, he spends his days in Beach City doing activities with the other Crystal Gems, whether it's helping them save the universe or just hanging out.

Throughout the first season it is slowly revealed that the four Crystal Gems in Beach City are the remnants of a once great interplanetary civilization of Gems. Most of the locations visited by the Gems are ruined shrines or locations that were once of great importance to Gem culture, but have become derelict and fallen into disrepair during hundreds of years of neglect. The second half of the season deals with this theme in greater depth, revealing that the Gems are cut off from their home world and that the monsters and artifacts they encounter throughout their adventures are actually Gems who have lost the ability to maintain rational humanoid forms.

This show was made by Rebecca Sugar, someone who also happened to help with Adventure Time!

I haven't seen this show since the Pearl+Amethyst transformation episode. I wanted to continue it but Space Dandy was going in the second season, Over the garden came out and both Wander over yonder and Gravity falls released new episodes. Soooo

I been in love with the show since the pilot episode. Showed that thing to everyone within showing range.

I really love the music, too. It creates a very unique atmosphere I think. This song was from an older episode, but it's still amazing (as was the episode, of course).

Yessss, Steven Universeee is finally getting some love! I have loved this show since the pilot as well. I watch it as soon as a new episode is released and not a millisecond after. The music is indeed amazing. Especially the little instrumentals that play during the credits. My fav episodes have got to be "Steven and the Stevens", "Beach Party", "Too Many Birthdays" and...oh fuck, I love every episode!

Cannot wait until more of the secrets are revealed.
edit: I love Lars even though he is one of the biggest dicks I've ever seen in a show.

The thing I look forward to all the time is fusions, ever since Giant Woman introduced them. I just love them so much (love fusion dancing in all forms). So, I REALLY liked Alone Together, though I hope that didn't mean Steven can't fuse with the other Gems. Also really looking forward to other gems being introduced, ever since Lapis. Hoping for a confrontation with Peridot too.

I loved the ambiguity in Stevannie. And Sugalite is my fav character so far(Nicki is a huge factor tbh) and I'm lookin forward for Pearl+Garnet fusion, but who isn't after all?
I've heard sadly that re-runs during the week got cancelled in America and replaced with more Gumball and Teen Titans? The show seems on risk for not being very marketable :c

Well, Season 1 still has 13 more episodes, and the show has already been renewed for a second season with another 52 episodes, so it doesn't look like it's doing that poorly.

I'm still waiting for Emerald to be a thing. I needs it. But yeah, if any gems can fuse, that would make the show so much MORE interesting than what it already is, mind blowing, I know!! And I'm certain that Steven fusing with a human doesn't mean he can't fuse with gems. I *personally* think the reason he was able to fuse easier with a human, than with any of the gems, is because Steven personally identifies himself as more of a human. And he's been more around humans than gems, if that makes sense.

Lol There is something about NGE I just love. Perhaps because it is a gargantuan mindfuck and there are some twisted characters. I love it. Even when the plot and the bit with the angels get a bit confusing and characters happen to do things that don't make sense (especially in the movies) at times. I love it.
