Oh I guess it makes more sense that Umbrella was just born with pink hair.
Do you really think Annie would dye her hair green?
Anime influenced universe with animal people present and having blue or teal hair isn't a big deal.
I'm mildly sure that her blue skin is actually rotting.
......well f##k, I missed that pun a mile away
I'm not sure why we're all so in a fuss about people in this game's universe having naturally weird anime hair colors when there are some really illogical anime hair styles regardless of color anyways
It's not like anime hair automatically makes Skullgirls a omgz teh animu =^____^= weeaboo game or anything jeesh
actually, i wonder if Cerebella colors her hair as part of her on-stage appearance.
Lol, for a second, I read that post with your sig and I imagined that after the pun, instead of a laugh track a horrifyingly loud pterodactyl screech would be played!
My god, my lack of pun knowledge is a catatrophy
I know the art deco bit is definite canon, however, a lot of skullgirls seems to reference 16-19th century works too. Parasoul and Umbrella's last name is Renoir, which as stated is the name of a fairly famous Impressionist painter, The Medici are named not only after the Patrons of the arts during the Renaissance but also produced 4 popes and two Queens (Ironically, one of the Queen's names? Marie de Medici').
More headcanon. Or maybe this should be called "haircanon"
Well, then maybe people shouldn't have gotten so miffed over the topic. Weird hair colors are just A Thing That Happens in SG, whether it's natural or characters dye their hair is irrelevant. SG is full of all manners of oddities and you guys pick on the one that is easily explained with "because it's cool and that's what the artist chose".
I'm just curious how, biologically speaking, Umbrella could have pink hair because, assuming we classify pink hair as a variation of red hair, black hair, which Queen Nancy seemed to have, is still a dominant gene and should leave both of the princesses with black hair rather than their father's re-
You motherfucker.
Red hair ain't anime, yo.
Yes, that nice young fellow is pointing. It is a known fact that Jotaro from Jojo points, therefore according to my perfect Shocking logic, he is an anime character.
