What the hell does taunt do?

My dream rigth now is being able to PBGC into this.
 
It only has the standard few frames of post-flash invuln that most Blockbusters already get
 
Now what this needs is an Akuma style taunt. After the Char is laying flat, Squiggly should be in some kinda pose, like maybe Have her doing her win pose then have it animate backwards to her normal stance? =3 Unless it Kos then she's already sitting XD

It seems to have startup invincibility. Only about 3 frames, but it's there.
 
I don't think this thread should be locked. Give people more time to react to the discovery of this awesome secret super move.

The two charges is a clever twist I think most of us missed when we were trying to figure out what was added. I was trying out nonsense like seeing silver chord was extended or increased flame damage. The search was fun, though. Reminds me of the time Mike added a secret with the new icons (like the ones for when you miss a block). I think that one turned out to be a heart appears if characters get into a staring contest?

I was thinking today that it was both funny and ironic how Leviathan goes "Arrogant fool!" the reason i think it's ironic is because well, you have to accumulate the 5 bars which is difficut as it means fighting without supers for a while, then charge both stances, then taunt AND finally trigger it, so yeah, it takes some time to set it all up, but it's so damn worth it, it feels like the entire thing is a MAJESTIC MAJOR BURN with Leviathan's line being the salt that goes on top of it.

I fucking love it, i truly thank you Mike for this.
 
This seriously should be closed and cleaned up and then stickied. while sharpie and others were joking around willy nilly the mystery has been solved and that alone should warsnt for this thread to be closed. Whatever.

@gllt it looks like you were the first one to find it? or at least to record it and post it here...I gotta ask, how did you figure out the super taunt is the "inverse" raging demon command (lk lk 6 lp hk)? did I miss some huge hint?

This super can be useful when time is almost running out and your opponent haves the life lead, and there's no time to overcome the difference with a combo.

That requirements however...

A couple of things:

1) I don't think this thread should be closed if people are still finding tech related to this super.

2) You want an Akuma style pose at the end of the super? Just taunt after the super on a character kill.

3) I was testing to see if the move results in a techable knockdown. It's untechable, and it gives you a little bit of advantage on their wakeup, but it's not enough of an advantage to get a free taunt after the super if it didn't kill... so it looks like you have to work extra hard for that Akuma pose.

I did not find it first. I also didn't spread it first!

I just made a clear video of it and explained it, landed it a couple of times in some matches by seeing how you'd have to play to obtain it while still trying to win the match regardless (meaning giving it up if it was smarter to do so) using fortune/robo/squigly as the test bed, and then went to try and make combos with it as usual.

Also @ people bitter about it LMFAO GROW UP

Some taunts are done in reverse order to the move they are based on, that's where I got the idea.

I absolutely love this easter egg, but here are some suggestions on sprucing it up only after you have absolutely nothing better to do with your time.

- Maybe add some hitsparks when Leviathan attacks.
- Have her stand in her Dragon's Breath stance on KO with the fire effect over Leviathan's head and maybe delay the super KO screen so it stays out just a tiny bit longer.

perhaps not closed, but i definitely think some posts should be deleted.
such as the silly image posts, but that's all.

At this point, I'd rather Mike just remove the damn thing from the game.

It's more like he stepped on a banana and went sliding but it's definitely not jumping or hopping.
 
I'm going to be honest and say that I'm tempted to lock this thread so people can stop posting variants of "Hey Mike, can you please waste some of the last few weeks of Skullgirls' active development time doing X Y and Z to this easter egg move that 99% of the people who bought this game won't care about"

I mean I won't unless it gets really stupid, but come on guys.
 
There's nothing wrong with more discussion, the thread shouldn't need to be locked but the requests need to stop.

Edit the OP or something to say no requests, won't solve much, but worth a try.
 
Its simple. The idea was to ask wtf was squigs' taunt'S purpose. We found it it wouldnt be off hand to just close it. you can now add squigs' raging demon tech to squig tech thread.....and discussion this shit in the squigly discussion thread.......w.e

Edit:atleast clean up 80% of the thread
