I recall seeing a .gif of an unused Double animation where she turns into a dragon face. Anyone got a copy of that one?
 
Can someone get me Fortune's Death animation? That's not my favorite, but I can't figure out how she dies, her arms fall completely off, then when she collapses they snap back on again.

My favorite animations have to be (for Cerebella) the pushblock animation, the s.lk, deflector, Diamond Dynamo, Excellebella, Grab Bag, j.mk, Pummel Horse, Titan Knuckle, c.hk, and grab whiff. Sorry I have no nifty gifs, I don't know where to get them.

It's like a whole new world of sensations just came to her along with the realization she has the instruments to make it happen.

All these posts are making me seriously re-consider my vote for Excellabella. Can't we just agree everything is great? ....except for that Fenrir Drive frame. That's the stuff nightmares are made off. o_0

It's also making me very sad we don't have "clean" gifs. It seems that, like Vanillaware games, the character model sort of "blends" (sorry, I'm not tech savvy in these things) with the background and shadow. I assume the Bella c.HP screen Caleb put up in post #46 is the "crispest" resolution one can get. Just a quick look on Paint was enough to see the problems cleaning these frames could pose. And this is from someone who damn near offered his eyesight to Beelzebub to rip the in-game artworks of Rival Schools many moons ago.

Anyway, permit me to raise a toast to all the contractors! The unsung heroes of this epic.

Some guy on steam forums explained his pilgrimage through SG sprite ripping (used to get the the 'clean animations' zid spoke of)

Doesn't seem like it'd be very easy without a program to do all the image editing sequentially for you, I'm sure at some point someone will, but until then we just have to settle for some stage backgrounds and lighting effects on the .gifs

I'm a big fan of Big Bands crouching H.K. You know the giant windpipes? Yeah that. So badass how his coat moves around with it.

Seriously, it took me a good solid month or so after release before I could even look at her.
 
brb going into the files for skullgirls and modding painwheel out so I don't have to think of such animations

Reading this reminded me about how crazy difficult it is to get sprite .gifs of this game.

I'd love it if Lab Zero would implement an option to turn of stage lighting so we can at least get some rips from off screenshots. (I made a post about that in the feature suggestion board)

Actually, if you turn on hitbox view in training mode, even with her head off, Fortune has hurt boxes where her head should be. Pro players would tell you that this is too ensure that anything that works on headed Fortune works also on headless Fortune, but clearly it actually shows that Fortune's head exists in multiple places at the same time.

Stage Lighting is still present in 2D backgrounds.
