To add to that, Pearl was the most popular gem for a long time. Now I think it's garnet, but I kind of doubt Amethyst is beating Pearl right now.

I really don't like that SU tumblr. lol It is posting some major spoilers and all of them I do not like...if they come true, my heart will be undoubtedly broken since I am SO smitten with this show. Haven't crushed this hard since Dirty Pair.

Just went through 15 pages of little miss boxie's tumblr to try and figure out what this means and I still have no clue. Did she do one of those ~~infinite feels~~ comics involving steven dying or rose quartz dying or something like that?

Because if it's actually just that she posts spoilers you're rocking a fucking ruby and sapphire flair which is like the biggest spoiler in the whole show so far.

Are you talking about the "Did you know Steven Universe" tumblr?
This episode had plenty of little jokes and is more of character development. It was part of season 1 and I can see that it would have connected with Buck talking about his father in a later episode. Steven being called a "Cool Cat" made me think of Cookie Cat.

I'll fuckin rock whatever the fuck I want. Besides, at least the word is already out that Garnet is a fusion, which most people figured out before it was even revealed.

I don't care if that site is full of spoilers really, but it is more of...WHAT happens. Greg dying and Pearl being replaced...I don't like either of those ideas and it seems unlikely of the SU peeps to actually do that but who knows.

I love the random glints next to people's eyes, it's like anime-esque, but the show made it unique to itself. I also love how dark-ish the episode is when you think that 1. Buck didn't care about Steven's feelings. 2. Steven did that creepy thing with the eyes and the voice... >.> and 3. JFK assassination reference.

I found it kind of weird how Garnet's design was still not the new one. Did they forget or this one of those backup episodes?

I think that this was one of those episodes that they thought were going to air sometime before The Return. The same deal as the Uncle Grandpa crossover.

Shirt Club is a part of Season 1. So it is before the Return/Jailbreak episode.
 
Speaking of people figuring out Garnet was a fusion before it was revealed, I'm pretty amazed I didn't spot it.


I mean there's clearly three gems shown in the Sugilite transformation, and Sugilite has 3 obvious gems in full view all the time.

(Also, I friggin love Nikki Minaj's voice for Sugilite)

The point where the arguments against it got uncomfortably desperate was the fusion cuisine premiere in which you can LITERALLY SEE RUBY AND SAPPHIRE'S SILHOUETTES FALL OUT OF ALEXANDRITE but there were actually still people who didn't believe.

Ugh, I'm just glad it is confirmed to be fake. I was losing my marbles...but anyway, Shirt Club was kewwwwll...and I like Garnet's old design way better. *o*

I liked how love at first sight was explained. I'm also glad that we got to see Sadie's mom. Her first appearance reminds me of Jamie's first appearance. Garnet has great advice for people other than Steven which I found nice.
I'm looking forward to the next episode.
 
I bought Attack the Light from the app store. I really like it so far. Simple, cute, and fun. Although I may be so used to the app store's brothel of glacier pace games that force you to wait hours for actions to be done.

Either way I recommend it.
 
What if gems actually could fuse with humans, but they don't actually mesh together so they're bodies would be awkwardly connected together at ninety degree angles
 
Jamie after delivering that letter was very relatable. Which made watching him all the more painful
