Help Advertise Indivisible!

Well Ehubs hasn't done it and I sent tips since day 1. Kind of ironic given the nature that their articles sometimes aren't even fighting game related.

ehubs tends to avoid SG content for some reason. Guess that extends to this as well.

Kind of odd considering Ehubs actually gave coverage back in the SG IGG. I mean they did a ton of articles during the campaign where the comments would stretch several pages.

Maybe a streamed SG tournament where all participants have to have donated to Indiv? (Presumably this can be verified somehow.) And commentators periodically talk about Indivisible and show off relevant material between matches?
Feels really forced. I'd rather not.

So I posted on Blade Kitten's post about Steve wanting to make a Halloween photo, and I made a joke about doing Ajna and Ramzi. Sure enough, someone commented about it. I dono if it was before or after the Game Grumps video though.
untitled.jpg

(one of those "Likes" was from "Blade Kitten" also. Bet it was a like for the Star Wars Idea than Indiv XD)

Don't rely on grumps to do all the work though! It's still important to contact people yourselves!
yep, although since the grumps have covered it, it can be easier to spread news about it.

Two Best Friends on the ball, right now the Indivisible video in on some, early YouTube access site? But i'm sure it'll be on YouTube soon enough.

aw no more pink text for Kit... sad day.

On other news, I just want Mike Z to confirm, IS he a multimillionaire? Because if so he should just fund the game himself and not have the gall to ask other people for money.

I'm seeing 2 major points overlooked by all the people saying "but gaemz r spensiv!!" 1: Thanks to Skullgirls, they're already multi-millionaires to begin with, which gives them the funding they need. 2: They didn't need 3.5 million dollars to develop Skullgirls, a game of extremely similar quality. (And thanks to the lack of online multiplayer + the funding these folks already have to begin with post-Skullgirls, this game will be MUCH easier for them to make than Skullgirls was, without an additional 1.5 - 3.5 million.) Let's be real here: they don't need another 1.5 - 3.5 million dollars to compound the millions they already have. They can clearly develop a working prototype without it, and no, you really don't need 3.5 million dollars to finish developing a game that already has an engine and core assets in place, when the team working on it are already millionaires to begin with. These aren't indies who are barely getting by and on the verge of being homeless every month due to a lack of funds that we're talking about, despite how some people keep trying to frame them.

And now, my regime begins...

Cellsai EDIT: No it doesn't :P
(Color has been removed from this post, please don't drag this rule change out)

OH SHIT I FOUND THE GUY @Cellsai !

Name is: John Jameson. seems like a throw away account having been made on the 29th of August.

To be honest, if you're thoroughly reading the comments section under a gaming related youtube channel, you're kind of asking for it.
i know... but it's sorta like gold digging, you'll find a ton of shit but once in a while you'll get one tiny nugget of pure stupid gold. and once you do, it's all worth it ... for about 15 seconds.

whooo Jim's on the boat! Okay guys let's be super duper nice to Mr. Sterling because well, he is Jim Fucking Sterling son.

you do know you can link comments by right clicking the time (date) next to the name's post, right? XD

no i make youtube videos I don't use it as a site to talk to other people.

something you should know then lol Hell, I make videos too, but I gotta talk to my audience at times too =p So it's good to know a site's options than "Wee! Upload =D"

Is it really neccessary to talk about the comments here? What do people have to think after they see this?

And I'm starting to think this messaging thing could be starting to go wrong. Mr Sterling probably thinks we're L0 drones now for how he reacted.

He built an entire character of swearing and being rude for the sake of attention. I don't think we can tell anything about what he thinks about the campaign until he makes a video of it. I just hope he actually does his research.

Jim Sterling spiked in popularity after the "Slaughtering Grounds" incident with Digital Homicide Studios last year. Just to reassure you, he's a pretty popular dude.

And yeah, um... that ending was kinda embarrassing.

A reviewer for Destructoid and the Escapist, has done some things with Yahtzee of Zero Punctuation. From the Wiki page, it seems he'd really like Lab Zero's work and open development style. In particular:

Wikipedia said:
From the views espoused by his character in The Jimquisition, Jim positions himself firmly as someone who believes in the rights of the developers as creators to express themselves fully,[16] while disparaging the industry selling the material, who he has often cynically branded as being over-interested in making money and under-interested in producing a quality product.[17][18] He bills himself as a consumer advocate.

....He regularly takes aim at shovelware and often talks about the practice of "asset flipping"; purchasing ready-made assets from asset stores provided by game engines like Unity or Unreal, and re-selling them as a game with little-to-no modification.

I'm kinda speechless at that ending

Same here. I suddenly feel a lot better about not getting out of that boss pit. At least he liked it...

[co...
I've never even heard of the "Slaughtering Grounds" thing. I'm sure he's popular if he's posting like he is. Just, I dono him.

edit: Ninja info'd by Dave. thanks ^_^

Ohhhhhhhh, Jimquisition guy.
Never watched any of his videos but yeah, dude's pretty popular.

Sterling has an especially relevant appeal for Indivisible awareness because he's made himself into the youtube guy that goes after shady games business practices (like shitty kicktarters, for example). Having Indivisible be so upfront and honest about its IGG, one would hope that Sterling would appreciate that and extol its virtues.

One would hope.

I'll add that video and the Jimquisition one when it comes out to the media coverage thread. The game is getting a lot of attention lately. Three fairly big Youtubers covering it in such a short time, it is great.

It will not take long until we see someone claiming the ahps to be their waifu.
