For one player training, I go to training mode and set the dummy to computer on highest difficulty.

That's nice. I like how you've got the Guilty Gear button layout in gold.

That looks really awesome. There's a lot going on in that image.

    Should I get a Hit Box ?

Very little design went into the case of the hitbox. It's a rectangular cube made from folded sheet metal. This was probably the quickest, cheapest way for them to make cases. The problem is that the bottom of the case is parallel to the top. When you play with it in your lap, it's always going...

    Should I get a Hit Box ?

A lot of your issues with a stick are also potentially problems with a hitbox. I find motions like double quarter circles, half circles and Guilty Gear's 632146 motion to be more difficult on a hitbox. I also find certain moves more difficult to do when facing left. For example: when I'm doing...

I only use my Hitbox to play Bedman. With Hitbox, his 8 way air movement is really simple. To do his 993 triangle jump, you simply hold down 2 and 6 and double tap 8. With a stick the motion would be 95953. The Hitbox removes the need to return the stick to neutral (or non jump input) after each...

    Show Your Fightstick

DP fight stick. The case is made from poplar, pine plywood and galvanized steel. On the bottom, it has a pocket handle and a hidden trap door that slides open. The storage compartment is large enough to store the cable and a couple of candy bars. The artwork came from a 24 pack of Dr. Pepper.

    Cerebrawl

I thought the game looked ok. A few of Helen's normals looked pretty smooth...I guess it looked and played like a game that's 160 days into development. It doesn't really matter though, because the game wasn't really presented well. With all of the really good fighting games out right now, why...

Tokaigi 2016 has some good high level Jack-O play. From around 32:00 until 48:00 there are some good Jack-O matches, and at 1:20:00 there's a really good match against Ogawa's Zato. Also, check out the Dustloop forums. There's a video thread with a lot of Jack-O footage. Jack-O looks really...

Reload Dizzy wasn't the same as AC Dizzy. Her fish summon wasn't nearly as strong in Reload. The thing that made fish summons so strong in AC was the follow up summon. Even with YRC, single summons shouldn't be as strong as AC summons. Plus if you're using all of your meter for YRC's, Dizzy's...

Hitboxes are like frame data. They're good reference material. Some people will benefit from the info, while others will just use it as proof that "my character is dumb...I'm switching to Elphelt."

Just did some testing for Xrd on PS3. Apparently you can omit one of the diagonals on half circles. 426 doesn't work tho. For 632146, you can actually omit both diagonals. You can also omit diagonals in 236236 moves. The only shortcut that works for AC for PS3 is for the 236236 moves.

There is no leniency on the console version. That's really nice that the Steam version developers are thinking about keyboard players.

In Guilty Gear half circle or 41236 motions can be difficult with keyboard and Hitbox. If you miss either one of your diagonals the move won't come out. For double quarter circle or 236236 moves you can omit both of your diagonals and still get the super. It's completely normal to hate half...
