dragonos451 will be unavailable for this season finale (Sunday 15.02.2015), so he won't be around to record matches locally. As HD archives are a good thing to have, I've decided to handle recording and later uploading those myself.
That said, I'll need a volunteer to stream the event as I won't be able to do both. Commentating is not required. I mean, if the volunteer wants to commentate, that's great! Go for it! But priority is to just have someone stream the tournament live for everyone to watch and talk about in streamchat.
I could (probably, most likely) stream it, but I do refuse to commentate as I am horribad at it, have tried it before.
So if no streamer willing to commentate feels like it, I can do it, and if someone is willing to commentate but can't stream I could also have them in a Skype call and just mute my mic and let that person(s) do the talking.
So yeah, in short, I can do it if wanted.
The season finale will be a streamed double-elimination tournament, seeded by rank in the season standing.
We do not have an available commentator for the event, but will provide a live stream as a platform for everyone to watch matches and chat about them in real time.
TIME:
This Sunday (15-02-2015), starting at 7:00pm GMT/8.00pm CET/9.00pm EET (=standard Skullbats starting time)
I can think of 4-5 reasons, every single one of which would be enough by itself to result in a "yeah, no". I'm sure you know of them all, too.
I didn't feel this was a serious question so I didn't get too serious about answering it. Unless asked to elaborate, for now lets just go with a "yeah, no". :]
Forfeiting the season finals on a whim was very unsportsmanlike. It gives an awful example for other players + disrupts the season standing and in result top8 (which would look differently and be more valid were the 38 now null points distributed among other participants thorough the season).
In Skullbats groupchat you've been openly dismissive of (to the point of talking people out of participating in) the Danisen League, which is a sister project to Skullbats EU, taking a non-negligible amount of time and effort to create and maintain, all to provide additional attractions for the EU community.
You've openly downtalked both Skullgirls and the SG community in the Skullbats chat.
You've shown disruptive behaviour in both Skullbats groupchat and the streamchat during last finals.
Lastly, since your last post a few regulars independently expressed concern at the idea of you commentating the finale in a PM to me, as they experienced unpleasant treatment from you in the past, be it in PM or in public chat. Concern which I understand as I've seen if first- and second-hand myself.
Giving someone a position in Skullbats organizing - including commentating - is a mandate of trust. It's shows both the person in question and the community that he is approved by the event organisers in behaviour and attitude. That is not he case here and I would not want anyone to think otherwise.
Congratulations to Sanji for taking over the title of Skullbats EU Champion and good games to all participating players! Also, thanks to @Drewbie for streaming the event and to everyone who dropped in to watch! Hope you had a fun evening.
720p60fps recordings should be on Youtube by the end of the week, I'll post in this thread once I've got them ready.
Skullbats EU PC season 5 will as start as usual next Sunday (22-02-2015).

Word of explanation: Meiynas had to forfeit mid-tourney due to considerable connection problems on his end.
Hence his set vs zeknife in winners (E) was only one round and the set in losers (M) was a win by default for Kuroonehalf.
