Really Cool XD Mawile is pretty cool though, tbh.
 
I think it has something to do with curtsy maybe.
 
Why is Squigly's skin kinda purple, particularly?
I thought if you died from blood loss (gunshot to head), your skin turned a sickly pale, not a lavender tone (i.e., "postmortem stain").

what i'd like to know is why is her hair blue/purple, wasn't it supposed to be dark brown?

Stylish choice. Green/pale zombies are kind or relundant, don't ya think?
I'm not a big fan of Squigly's colour palette tho, I don't get it. Too many colours, and white-red stripes out of nowhere.

I agree with the stripe thing. I know the Medicis dressed her that way, but it's still kind of an eyesore, IMO.
The colors clash, if anything.
 
Is more artistic choice really, normally undeads in drawings are refered by some tone of purple, or green/blue. when they are not pale, really.

I really do like the VAs, that's why I'm so ready for voiced story mode.
 
Squigly's voice does actually soothes me.
 
Anyway, here's a curious topic: despite being so wealthy, I wonder how Squigly developed a taste for burgers. Did she just enjoy fast food, or did she mostly have gourmet burgers cooked for her?

It's a very nice voice, but I moreso have a preference for Valentine or Eliza's voice. I typically like the condescending characters who have attitudes.
That being said, this means we get to hear her father's voice in his one little line. I bet the family singing all at once would be fucking heavenly.

Man fuck rich people that eat fast food. I used to work at McDonalds are those motherfuckers would come flashing their 100 dollar bills and get all pissy when I had to check them.

To the person that ask is it too hard to make a thread about squigly and post thread.

Yes. Yes it is. Why would i discuss something with an obessive squigly waifu lover that posts really good squigs ass pics( i thank you for that i suppose). That's absolutely apprehensive and otherwise violatile to any opposition of squigly? Hearing bullshit about why she gets picked on. Shouldnt matter since if you like squigly so much you should live by atleast one of her quotes.

this thread isnt the fault. You are. I'm going to wager half of the people watching this thread or participating are not thinking "oh boy cant wait for discussions of squigs" but more "holy shit what dumb shit can sprout out of more dumb shit" so people converse here knowing the whole thing was going to be a shit storm because the main supporter of squigs has a short fuse with everyone and is unable to make good discussion due to poor reputation and apprehensive behaviour but you can post good pictures which i enjoy myself.

Alex Ahad (I think it was) listed which characters would need to be funded and have story modes for the canon story to ever be possible.
Umbrella was one of them, and I believe Black Dahlia was, too.
 
@DimitriAwsometh Ooh, I remember where I saw it. The wiki.

  • Black Dahlia was the third possible DLC character to be revealed in the Indiegogo campaign, at $60,000. It has been stated that she is one of the characters who would need to be made playable for the canon Skullgirls storyline to be revealed.

Yes, the needed characters for the canon story mode are the Vanilla cast plus: Umbrella, Marie, Squigly, Black Dahlia, Scythana and possibly Annie.

My guess is that she didn't know about it because the Skullheart wasn't necessarily around the Canopy Kingdom at the time. I mean, there are other lands for it to spread, but... ahh, this is a horrible excuse anyways.

It's just strange. The Contiellos are described as clients of the Medicis. I'd think they'd be at least a bit familiar with the power of the heart or at least know what it was.

Well, I think @SecretlyEngarde actually might be right in that she may have been shocked to see it. I mean, what if someone just gave you the Skullheart? You'd almost be in denial.

The Medicis don't have any direct correlations with the Skullheart, tho? All they care about is that it's a menace to their power,and they want to stop/get it.

Not entirely sure what is the source of the confusion, so I'll just say the order of events was most likely as follows:
1. Double informs the Medici that the Contiellos have the Skullheart (either by spreading rumors or by a direct snitch)
2. Double visits the Contiellos during Sienna's birthday party and gives Selene the 'heart. Selene does recognise it and is taken aback by what is given to her.
3. Medici assassins assault the party to retrieve the 'heart for Lorenzo. Many innocents die.
4. Though Selene had no intention to wish on the 'heart earlier, she does so now. She knows about the consequences but is in shock and/or a "consequences be damned" state of mind. Likely wishes either for her family to return to life, or for vengeance on those who are killing them.
5. Boom, instant Skullgirl.

I'm pretty sure she wished for her family to come back due to the voice line of, "Save them all!" or something along those lines.
