So you gonna add one or two more invincible frames to her DP? Need to know that Frame data.

You know the frame data viewer in the game gives you all this information.
 
On second thought DON'T Change the amount of invincible frames with Eliza's DP it's more that enough to counter Peacock's Argus on reaction so yeah.

It should be noted that LK Bomber, the most complained-about assist in the game except for maybe Updo, doesn't even have full invuln during startup. You can stuff it with a meaty.

In a fully scaled combo, what does more damage, her QCB K or her DP L-M-H?
 
Yeah, Liz' c.HK instantly travels the entire screen and doesn't just lose to every air normal, while also being cancellable into lots of useful things right now so Peacock can't just jump over her.
It also deals a buttload of damage since you get full combos out of hitting with it, while carrying almost no risk.
In the same vein, Peacock actually has no gameplan aside from George George George, so if that's slightly hindered she might as well just drop the stick.

And now to top it off, Liza is actually able to do a slow move that's -21 on block, doesn't lead to anything on hit and easily flat whiffs, and that move stops projectiles. The terror, right there.

Clear 10-0 matchup.

Nope her slide only has armor, 3 hits of it. It don't BLOCK projectiles. Now if you are talking about the second hit of her cr. mp then yes it would block a low projectile.

c.HK soaks up all projectiles. Eliza takes damage in the process as she's armoring through them, but she got infinite projectile armor so she's kinda shipping through.
 
Hey @Mike_Z what would you think of molecular shield having guard point? kind of like bang's drive/Litchi's "Itsu" from blazblue orrrr rather Painwheel's hatred guard? just seems like a great thing to add in armor or some sort of absorption factor/property for when people charge in and such. Idk just seems like the perfect move for that since we can't combo off of it or jump cancel MP/HP versions.

Maybe only on the M version to differentiate it from the "comboable on point" and "assist autopick" versions. Either that or give it wicked meter gain in exchange for less damage and chip.

Shower thought: Wow, it would be hilarious if M Spin didn't do any damage but instead had like triple meter gain or some shit.

gotcha. c.hk is better over that anyways. ill just have to figure the good enders with it.

btw for those who dont know, you can combo off L Twirly thingy after c.hp (first hit). if doing it a second time you need to pause slightly to be in range for s.lp. Video's in combo thread.

The final couple of hits to Eliza's Lv3 do a boatload of damage. Like the last hit unscaled or last 3 looks like it does more than the super if every hit connects. I wonder how to just get those to hit.

That's the thing I noticed too. The last hit by itself does 5k which you can do when it's spaced a certain way. A low-scaling starter into that 5k hit is gonna be one of my combo projects for her unless it changes.

Yup and if you counter hit it's 7500 points of damage. so try to do like an overhead crossup with tremolo assist or something.
 
Looks like the rekka dp thing auto corrects, so I think you could use it to force people to block regardless of which way they ground tech.

Silent Scope, Gimlet, and (MvC2) Hailstorm are all basically the same thing, minus the assist-punish part. They hit you anywhere you are.

I don't play Marvel, but from what I've seen Hailstorm is "Very difficult to avoid, safe, punishes assists, can't combo out of it without DHC", which is roughly the opposite of Silent Scope.

The main use of Hailstorm *seems to be* either to DHC into it, or to eat up assists, or both.
The main use of Scope is to uuuuuuh not get hit out of Bike startup and to combo out of far range confirms.

Para Lv3 feels a lot closer to what I'm seeing of Hailstorm than Sniper?
 

Basic safejump concept. I couldn't find a normal jump setup to get an assist lockdown after without being vulnerable to fenrir. The timing is based on the sound effect but it might be specific to filia. Against eliza you can just do two normal jumps after HK-HK.

Player use and functionality are different. And you can totally combo off Hailstorm without a DHC, airdash down-forward OTG whatever.

Hailstorm has long-ish vulnerable startup, hits you wherever you are onscreen, and will always produce a projectile if the superflash happens even if she is hit afterward. So does Scope.
Scope is the functionality of Hailstorm without the incredibly overpowered "safe, and a 40% assist punish because it hits the entire screen" parts.
I guess I should have said it's a non-busted Hailstorm? Like the other things are non-busted versions of the same thing.

Hi does anyone know if Eliza will still be getting a bloodshield for her standing block? Im also going to make a wild guess here and assume that her chariot animation is her tag in.

Ok, so hitstop blows up my gross setup, but I think it's worth noting anyway.

If you take a safejump setup like the one above, you can do an option select between air dash and dp (or just blocking if you prefer). This will make stuff like reversal updo whiff and you can punish it pretty easily. The advantage of this over just doing a safe jump into crouch block is that once they learn to just block high and pushblock, the air dash will keep you in their face.

The input I'm using is j.mk (timed as a meaty) then dp+PP timed to be a very low airdash. As I said, this loses to hitstop supers like fenrir unless someone can prove me wrong, if they're willing to bet meter then just go for a safer setup.
 
I will try against Fenrir for you Age, but I have a recording of it OS beating BB lvl 3

EDIT: I think it should be technically possible, but yeah this is really tight

EDIT 2: I don't think it is possible. I can time it such that it is actually too late for an air dash to occur but the egyptian statue will only come out on whiff. Fenrir just seems to fast for it.

Ran a set vs @ElkyDori last night who was running Eliza. Not 100% sure how I feel about heavy molecular shield as an assist. It didn't seem as reliable as a standard DP, but when it worked... dear god did it work. I don't run a reversal though (PW/Squig) so maybe that would have been a game changer?
