Unboxing P4AU with what the blow up Teddie looks like

Margaret English Trailer

y'know, i used to actually read/play tarot when younger. i'm curious if it's possible to be tuned from game-based tarot cards and get a decent reading. my last 2 sets never tuned right with me.

minor arcana isn't really necessary, and are harder to read. lots of "it's that or the exact opposite" depending on how you've learned it

The Minor Arcana are themselves pretty minor in the series. I think they only showed up in P3 and P4G, and even then, they were confined to Shuffle Time. Wouldn't expect a full official Persona tarot deck any time soon.

Also, kinda interesting that Japanese voices were used in the English S-Hold/Shadow tutorial.

Here is the NA DLC prices for P4AU

http://atlus.com/p4au/dlc/

Margaret's price has yet to be announced. Same goes for Adachi/Marie after their week of being free. It's worth noting that even if you don't get the game on time, on the PlayStation Store (no clue about Xbox 360's store), you can download the DLC for Marie and Adachi while they are free before the offer expires. That way you don't have to pay when you get the game.

The price was already confirmed to be $4.99 for Margaret a few posts up which I imagine Adachi/Marie will follow suit once their free grace period ends.

Just remember that if you bought colors and glasses for characters last game, they''ll return in Ultimax (but ONLY for the old characters; you'll have to buy the new characters' swag separately).

There isn't a bundle solely for all the new characters, if that's what you mean. You either have to get all the characters' swag in one go or buy the packs for the new characters separately.

Remember these neat arcade style lobbies in P4AU?

They will only be in the PS3 version of the game.

The EU folks hereby cordially invite the X-bros for a I-know-that-feel group hug.

Speaking of Europe, seems the cards and a T-shirt will be included with the special edition. As reported by Siliconera:
Both sets of Persona tarot cards will make it to Europe. Rice Digital has one set with the Persona 4 Arena Ultimax fan edition. This bundle includes a copy of the game, tarot card ser #1, and a t-shirt. Fans will get to vote on the t-shirt design at a later date. While Sega is the publisher for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, the fan edition will only be sold through Rice Digital.
NISA America is distributing the second set of Persona tarot cards with Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth the Wild Cards edition. Both Persona titles will be available in Europe this November.

Rice Digital link (meaning a middle finger to mainland Europe)
If anyone is interested in this offer, £37,99 is roughly €44,50 or $59,40.

Anyway, does the game have dual audio? I vaguely recall being super hyped for P4A but now I'm practically looking for motives to stay interested in this... -_-"

On the US version, only for fights. No Story mode dual audio.

I wrapped up P4A. I thought y'all were joking about all story modes being the same.
I don't regret doing all the stories though, because I have a general idea of each character personality wise and gameplay wise now at least.
Only characters I really got some good time in with was Teddie though.
Oh well, Ultimax is in two days

My bad it thought it was dual audio through in story mode as well, sorry about that.

Eh, don't worry. More than a few people don't really care about dual audio, but it is nice that we're getting it, even if only partially.

Everyone knows it's pronounced "Mini-toe"
That's what the dub told me...

Shoot, I didn't know it was possible to set the menu and lobby music in Ultimax!

I CAN FINALLY GET SIGNS OF LOVE 100% OF THE TIME!!!

Edit: Unfortunately, there wasn't a whole lot of opportunities for Labrys to have a playable fight and have it make sense. Even the one fight she does get has zero consequence to... anything, if I remember correctly.

Not that they should have, but if her friend had been a full character, that probably would have allowed for a far more depressing sequence.

Be glad it's even on the Xbox in the first place. There isn't a Japanese Xbox version, and I won't be surprised if Microsoft is completely shunned by ASW for the games to come.

That news might have been lovely to know....I don't know a few days earlier for NA release? Just canceled 360 version and just pre-ordered PS3 version because while I prefer one service over the other for a good chunk of my games, I refuse to purchase an inferior product on a different system at the same price.

Also dammit on no dual audio for story in NA localization I really enjoyed that in first Arena game since it gave me a reason for a 2nd play.

I'm glad there's no incentive for me to try the japanese voice because I hate Rise's japanese voice and I hate Labrys' japanese voice because it's not a brooklyn accent.
