Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

More concept art from stream: Zebei!

Also, going back to funding (sorry) I read a comment on the Indivisible subreddit along the lines of "If this game isn't funded, there'll be no more Lab 0"
I know I shouldn't believe things on the internet, and I don't really think it's true but I don't think I've seen proper clarification from Mike or someone else
Mike has said on-stream if this fails, he's getting a job at a supermarket. Lab Zero won't have funds to continue to exist without this game. Not a pity thing, just the fiscal reality of the situation.

Whoa Vasco running with the "Not Anime" Look!

you know... I kinda want to see how all the characters would have looked like if they were drawn realistically. :-I

As a fan of not realism, I don't agree with you

Is okay to submit an animated video as fanart if it has a song i don't have the rights of (as in, a shingeki no kyojin opening parody)?

Holy shite.

All I can hope for now is for the campaign to pull through in the final days of clutch time, and pull a miracle like Bloodstained did at the end of that campaign.

You know just helping out in someway would be really great. Spreading the word, showing people the prototype, ect. A great saying is "You can't get shit done if you sit on your hands." If we want this Miracle then we will damn well work to get it. Lab Zero is doing their stuff, we should support them. Like a Family.

haha I don't think so, he's just exaggerating to get funds.

Money is coming

While that maybe true, Achievement/Trophy hunters rather have it straight to the point. If it's too tough to figure out or it's too hard, they will skip the game if they can't 100% it. Yeah.. there's people like that...
That doesn't bother me AT ALL.
In fact, that sounds preferable to me. Why would I cater to people like that, again?

Here's clarification: you can believe that one.

It's not specifically "if Indivisible fails we close our doors that same day" but this is THE THING that we're trying for. There's no backup money, considering we spent the SG money on SG (and the Vita version has been MUCH longer and more expensive than we thought because Vita). So if no Indivisible, there's nothing left. We would try to stick together but the reality is we'd probably all have to get other jobs pretty fast just to live. I know I will have to, and some other people have taken extra work even during the campaign period.

People want to know we're dedicated to this? There's your proof.

As fancy as Mike GrocerZ sounds, I'd rather have Indivisible.

On that note, does anybody have any idea when the most effective time to add money would be? Like, if I were increasing my contribution amount, is there a time period where it would naturally complement the ending push, or is that too hard to even predict?

Maybe during a stream so it helps to reach one of the mysterious "show us something cool" goals? Other than that, I don't know when would best help to build momentum. I would think the sooner the better, since the faster the campaign grows the less likely people are to say "It won't make it so why bother."

Not saying you should, but it was pretty clear that the achieve/trophy descs didn't make a lick of sense (ok a few was solvable). But some of it does come in the form of sales... if you put som'in hard to figure out/too tough to get, you'll loose out on possible sales from these collecting nuts.

'scuse me? All of them are directly related to what you do, except for the one that got the wrong description which we fixed.

I'm not gonna get into it.. too tired. I do know Double's was pretty "what?" and most people didn't know that the new 827 trophy was based on the combo. jus saiyan. *goes to bed*

Getting achievements with vague descriptions reminds me of completing quests with vague waypoints.

'Your opponents aren’t the only ones under the knife.' [Skullgirls Achievement]
'Secure the rough diamonds hidden in Spugmay Keep.' [MGSV:TPP Bonus Objective]

or

'Revive 40 team mates'
'Walk your character over to the blinking waypoint on the map.'

First one sounds good to me.

Not on stream, but we have a couple hours left in the night. Five grand in that time could happen.

I have to ask it though: if game won't be funded what will contest winners get?

Yo, I've been telling everyone and their mother about this game.
The nice feeling of having won.
Better than nothing.

Dhar's sword truly goes back and forth between fitting and not fitting in its sheath.

Welp for some reason they colored the older one instead of using the already colored new one. :P

Oh ya... that is the old one. The way he holds the sword in the old one also looks uncomfortable x.x BUT NICE VID ANYWAYS!

Haha, speaking of which, will Ajna have "sit boy" command not unlike Kagome has over Inuyasha?

village assault, ver. I, ver. II

I wonder if Dhar's sword is flexible like Tungar's urumi. Not roll-into-a-turban-like-a-badass flexible, but some wobble and give, like a giant spatula.

(oh, and only $410 away from the next Incarnation!)

Is Dhar's sword flexible like a giant spatula? Dang it now I can see him making pancakes with his blade. Just like...

"Hey Ajna, I totally hate you for imprisoning me and going after my master, but I made you a healthy breakfast. You've got to keep your strength up or else I too will die."

"Un... thanks, Dhar?"

"hmmpphh... what ever."

*Crush 40 music playing the background*

Just a few things to keep in mind, with these Incarnation videos:
  1. They exist as hype fuel, to get people excited
  2. Nothing about them should be regarded as the final word on a character
  3. You should not assume that a voice speaking in 3rd person about a character actually belongs to said character
  4. I am making these videos in collaboration with Lab Zero, but I am not part of Lab Zero
  5. There being two already is probably a good sign there will be more, but nothing is guaranteed
