I wonder if Mastema will return. I mean in Law you murder him, but otherwise he's kind of an ally. Aside from the dlc, Mastema doesn't do much, but leaves an impression.

Odin is back! He's no longer a senile old man! Yaaaaay? What about the one girl that's prominate in a lot of sidequests? She becomes a leader of the fairies, and itd be interesting to see what has become of her.

Well, no, she turns out to be Black Madonna, the explanation being she was the leader of the fae, Lady Danu (Celtic Maiden, Mother, Crone) but she could no longer lead them because she's now part of Abrahamic lore.

I am interested to see what she is up to in this though, and she is actually hanging out with Oberon in one picture.

I'm interested in this game, would you guys recommend I play SMT 4. I know its not out yet, but its a sequel right so I'll need to know the story of the first game yeah? The only other game in the series is Persona 3 FES which I enjoyed.
 
SMT 4 is not as forgiving as P3. The story is also darker. If you want to get IV, get a guide, and be prepared to die. You need a lo of perceverence
 
I have a lot of problems with SMT IV and will shit talk it all day, it's still worth playing and I imagine rather enjoyable if you have nothing to compare it to, it's easy enough and not as focused on morbidity as a lot of the other games, and yeah, you really should play it if you plan on playing Final, while none of the actual endings lead into the new game you will still know all those characters and the setting well once you've played through it.
 
Also do you think they'll use this new Odin design in Persona 5. Personally I really like the new look and I think most of the Norse gods could do with a visual overhaul. Also it would be really cool if Catherine was the succubus demon/persona in P5, and chaos end Vincent as the incubus.

Not really, most demon designs, especially redesigns, that are plot specific characters or bosses don't really stick around.

Not that it never happens, I can certainly come up with some examples easily, but I doubt this Odin is going to stay around.
 
Catherine was also a high level demon. She's more tied to Persona, where it makes even less sense to use her as the general design
 
Who's drawing these new designs? Still doesn't feel like kaneko's work...

Doi. Some of the demons feel like off-brand Kaneko, which is far better than the guest designs. And I actually like the new Odin well enough, though I did prefer the Devil Summoner sprite we already had.

Sukuna-Hikona No Kami, is a Japanese dwarf deity of healing and sake brewing, supposedly helped Okuninushi in making the world, has a shrine in Osaka.

He is also the only person on that page without a listed voice actor, so, that's suspicious.

Don't misunderstand me, the designs ARE cool, but they lack that bit of "unnatural/nonstandard" style that Kaneko used in the old arts. Even the more "normal/juman" demons (and you can safely include most Norse gods on it) felt striking and unique when compared to the protagonists, other demons and even other humans. Let's bring Classic Odin and Classic Heimdall for example:

Even without a kick-ass armor, this guy has a lot of presence. Also, all norse gods share inhuman skin tones (before you ask, classic thor skin was meant to be nearly red). All the presence comes from cape and helmet, and this makes him look more menacing and imposing than the armored Cu Chulainn.

Same goes with Heimdall

The overall design is relatively simple, but the horn, white cloth and posing makes him striking enough and identifiable as a norse god.

Anyway, Odin Sphere is coming out in April for America, Persona is dropping during summer in Japan and I can't imagine Atlus won't be pushing to be as close as possible, so, how fucked is the chance of getting Final before Winter next year?

I'd post a blurb about Tiki but...

Anyways, going off the trailer I propose a #FE drinking game. Take a shot whenever Tiki says Onee-chan. Finish the bottle whenever she makes googly moe kid eyes at a character. I expect these two conditions alone to drop 78% of the player base.

In the first Fire Emblem, Tiki addresses Marth as Onii-chan. In the US version of the remake, Shadow Dragon, they changed it to Mar-Mar.

I dunno, I kinda like Tiki as the pseudo equivalent to Hatsune Miku.

I've continued to keep myself abreast with news about #FE and managed to snag a new character video minutes after it spilled out onto the internet. This time it's the head of the entertainment company whose name escapes me. Introducing the bouncing, bubbly personality that is Maiko Shimazaki.


I'm still awaiting the specific details of her character to be released from their confines but I assure you that Maiko is the breast character in the game so far. And because I can't think of a better way to frame the rest of this I'll leave you all with this.
Bosoms, melons, milk factories, busts, funbags, knockers, balisties, boobies, jugs, nipples, jublies, stonking great tits!
