Rip alright you guys need to figure out amongst yourselves who the 2 people not going are so people don't go too out of the way.
 
Good luck with that then, 2 people are going to be upset waking up mad early to meet up somewhere only to realize the car doesn't have room in it xD

Yeah it was fun to meet a bunch of new people and put faces to a few names of people I'd played against online. Thanks for the games @ everyone i played vs, it was good to get experience playing at a local and I'll definitely come out again sometime when I can organize transportation.

Yeah, that was a hell of a time. I wish I could have hung with the Skullgirls crowd a little more, but I had to help with the Mortal Kombat X setups and the 3rd Strike tourney. Still, man that was an impressive turnout. 22 people total, I believe.


So, the store is dead, long live the store. Hope to see some of you popping up at the new location.

Don't know of any bracket link. It was pretty informal and just thrown together at the last minute by Half Empty. 10ish entries, single elimination.

Derek Bun won Third Strike. I don't think LuckyD entered. He was busy all day announcing brackets, getting stuff organized, and MKX was starting up at the same time as Third Strike.

As far as I know, the only thing LuckyD entered was Ultra.

I think it was actually Tom that won, unless that was a money match. Then I money matched tom, because fuck Hugo
 
Yea Tom eliminated me with his Hugo. Just did a lot of stupid shit and he just punished me every time I did. He wrecked me bad first round but after that our matches were pretty close, but still every time it came down to the last hit I would just do something stupid. Oh well.

Next, man, I love you guys, but fuck the 4 hour drive up there. Got home around midnight and was dead tired. Peanuts, idk how you do it, but man, that was a long drive, and I drive every day.

Just got back to school not too long ago. I had a blast on Saturday, thanks everyone who came long ways to play Skullgirls. It was cool seeing a ton of new people.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out, this was a great send off for the Framingham store. Shout outs to NY for coming all the way up from NY, shout outs to VT for coming down all the way from VT. Shout outs to Massachusetts for coming out, I had no idea how many players we had in MA. It was great seeing all the new faces and meeting everyone, hope you guys can make it out to more events, especially since I didn't get to play any casuals (I was busy running the tournament and then I was busy playing in the MKX tournament and by the time that was over I had to go home). Thanks very much to @LordCeno and @Rizil for providing setups, we could not have run the tournament without your help, or I mean we could but it would have taken like 3 more hours. Thanks to everyone who helped run the stream and commentate, I was busy running brackets and couldn't do it myself so I really appreciate you holding it down.

good sh!t everyone, saturday was real, I had a blast and I hope everyone that attended had a good time. It'd be great to see some of the other locals make it out to the Natick location once that gets going! I'm not usually one to give shoutouts, but I think a few people deserve it:

@mcpeanuts - thank you for running the tournament and providing a stream/gaming setup, things went smoothly as always and you sort of got 2nd place

@Rizil - you get my vote for MVP, seriously. You drove NY/NJ here AND you provided a full setup for casuals/tourney. Things would not have turned out nearly as awesome as they did if you hadn't helped out.

@LordCeno - thank you for also providing a setup for Skullgirls ( and MKX ). Things couldn't have gone as smoothly if it weren't for help like this
