More characters on in the horizon with Marie Rose coming to consoles at the end of the month.


Not to mention Phase Four recently being announced too

TN recently has also been hinting of future character reveals too.
 
Cyanide, you should cuz I say either is a good buy. (but PS3 is better)
 
I played it at two tourneys before (and I placed in the top 5 for both, and I never played it beforehand), and the game is really fun. I wish they would release it on PC. That'd be so cool! Playin' as Lisa on the go.

Is there any difference between the boxed version of DoA5:U and that linked Core Fighters package? The sale might be the tipping point for me to get back into the series.
 
The cored fighters packaged won't work if you already own the doa5:u copy. So get the all original costumes package instead

I guess I can live with that... I mean, sure it ain't the original Tengu, but it's better than nothing. I hope she fights like Tengu we've all (most of us) grown to love.

That Catwoman outfit is too much, though. Hope she gets some cool alts.
 
This trailer made me approve of this character. I forgive them for not adding the original Tengu, her moves look cool and they added some old moves to boot.
 
what if her story is that she actually is Tengu, just in a new body?
 
What if she's Tengu's daughter? (Let me believe this)
 
She is one of the most beautiful characters i have ever seen.
She look like a lot of fun to play too. Hopefully her execution barrier isn't too high XD
 
knowing DoA, its probably not that high considering it only utilizes 3 buttons.

Looks like there will be at least one new stage based on the teaser.

Some of these devs resisting the urge to port to PC. tsk tsk tsk. Missing out on some serious bank.
 
Very happy to see DOA5 going to PS4.
Hopefully it attracts more people to take the game seriously.

confirmed from trailer:

- Two New Stages (Crimson and Danger Zone)
- New Costumes (Notably Eliot and MR costumes from fan contest)
- New Hairstyles (caught a short hair hitomi and possibly more)
- New Tag animations (For MR/Helena, MR/Eliot, Ayane/Nyotengu)
- More Particle effects during CB and hazards
- Improved existing stages (More Penguins present)
- Surprising point is Senran Kagura collaboration happening at the end.
 
Well now I have a chance at playing. Yaaaaay.
 
Hopefully PS3 gets a DLC update instead of needing a new disc >_>

So it seems as if PS3/XBox360 players aren't getting the new stages or hair styles, but only the costumes and characters. The DoA folks aren't taking this too well, what do you guys think?
