USA [Dec 8, 2017] SALTY! Friday Weeklies @ Game Realms (Burbank, CA)

NOTE: SP will not be here this week (and the week after I think?) so pizza-time is suspended till further notice! Make sure to grab something to eat ahead of time or hit up the McDonalds next door.

OK spreadsheet as been reset, sign up! You'll see I added another column, please use this to state what games you plan on participating in in regards to tournament entry (should we run a tourney for it). It'll help TOs setup and gauge interest ahead of time. Grazi!

Also, checked to make sure TG is still available this weekend. They is. ANOTHER NOTE in the game column please use SG, VSav, and GG abbreviations so the spreadsheet can tally up interest. I could have it check for other variations or complete wording but like

OKAY more updates to the spreadsheet. I'm bringing back the Pizza table. You'll see a second sheet on the Attendance spreadsheet down below labeled Pizza. If you want Pizza mark Yes and copy/paste the topping you want FOR THAT WEEK into the topping area. This is to make Some Person's life easier and so we can organize our pizza efforts.

I put the rules in there but I'll put them here as well:

Pizza deal is Two Mediums at $7 a piece. Bring $3 - $5 dollars based on how much you plan on eating. Think of it as $1 per slice. We order based on half a pizza per person. Each pizza is 8 slices.

If you think you'll want a whole (specify Whole in the Special Order column) or something else outside the 2 for $7 deal(stuffed crust, specialty pizza, breadsticks etc.), say so in the Special Order column. Be prepared to cover the cost of it yourself. We would like to place, pick-up the order, and eat before we start the tourney!

Edit: Still making adjustment to the pizza table but I think I found something that will have to do for now x.x

That was more for the origin of the word pepperoni. It's just a corrupted version of Italian word for bell peppers.

"Sodium nitrite is white, but reacts with the heme in the myoglobin of the lean to give pepperoni its reddish colour" That also makes it red. I feel like Pizza Hut would be too cheap to add the spices in cause I sure dont taste either of 'em D: . It's definitely in toppings like Round Tables though! OH HEY I FOUND AN INGREDIENT THINGY

The sauce and pepperoni contains "spices". I imagine the pepperoni contains even less than the sauce. ANYWAYS don't die but pepperoni is great and I wish you could eat it also check out the pizza table on the spreadsheet.

Once again, thanks to an old friend (yeah I have friends besides you guys) who I promised I'd watch them in a musical they're in, I will be missing out this week :<

So since in a week and a half I will officially have my car, I'm gonna make more of an effort to attend salty when I visit my best buddy down in SoCal. Hopefully you'll see me drive down every few months.

Is anyone commuting from Orange/Anaheim this Saturday? I'd like to show up this week, but the trains don't run that late for me to make it back... I can bring a setup and help pay for gas

I can probably give you a ride back as long as you don't mind coming home at potentially 4-5am?
 
Heads up: Neo mentioned they may have to wrap it up early (original time midnightish) but he's not sure yet. It's depending on some sort of workload or somethin' he's gotta take care of. So keep that in mind for this week.

Pretty sure my SNES and all its games and accessories were sent to my family in the Philippines a long time ago, so I'm gonna need to borrow a controller.

It seems like no Rob this week either, which means I can bring my actual SNES and we can use it on an actual CRT and have actual lagless Tetris Attack, if we so choose...
