Holy shit you're still running with this metaphor. The problem is that even if you ignore it, it's still there. To bring the house metaphor, it's like if you painted dead cats on your dog-door as a joke. People in the neighborhood know it's a joke, some are okay with it, and even if their not, they can fairly safely just avoid your house. But, if there's a vacancy and a family is thinking about moving in, they may be put off by it. Maybe they don't get that it's supposed to be a joke, maybe they do but don't think it's funny, whatever. Point is, they are put off by it and don't move in. Would it have killed you to just paint over it?
If people don't want to move into a awesome housing development with decent neighbors because one of them has a dog house in the backyard(because I don't know anyone with a dog house in the front anymore, or if it's in front there's a huge gate because if there wasn't the home owner would be legally liable for whatever happened) painted in a way the family finds off putting then cool?
@Squire Grooktook Yeah, that dark fantasy that's always been silly as shit. Now we just have show able moments of physical intimacy, sexual or otherwise.
