i mean really, uninspired copies of peach has been getting more art than needed for years

I'mma throw my 2 cents into the ring, I don't like Bowsette, but like Peachette, though the reasons I like Peachette are completely different to why people like Bowsette. Here are the reasons why
  1. Bowsette is a shit name, it should be Peacher as Bowsette would mean Toadette trying to be Bowser not Bowser trying to be Peach. Like I know the people who named it Bowsette where thinking with their dick, but come on it's obvious.
  2. The designs I've seen are fairly uninspired, like Peachette isn't much better, but Peacher has been mostly just Peach with Bowser horns or the old "Fire Peach" with Bowser horns.
  3. This "meme" will be dragged into the ground in 2 weeks with Peacher art getting exponentially slower until the end of the year where it pretty much stops.
  4. Should this conversation be in the Mario Thread and not Gaming General?
  5. Toadette is in my top 5 Mario characters so having her be playable in a 2d game is nice. This has nothing to do with anything I just wanted to do 5 bullet points.

Peachette hardly looks anything like Toadette, so Bowsette hardly looks anything like Bowser. It's consistent.

there's a major difference between peachette and peaser that I just can't put my finger on.
it might be two major differences even, but I just can't tell what they could be and why every design but peachette uses them

I know competitive Puyo is/has been a thing for while, but has picked up steam over the past couple of years. Good for it. My question is WHERE THE FUCK IS PANEL DE PON (or what ever western localization of your choice ), NINTENDO? Like Panel is one of the most tense puzzle games and really satisfying. I can't imagine puzzle games being all that taxing or expensive to make and there's a clear interest in puzzle games in the modern market, so where is it?
 
I don't care about monster girls, I just like that it's the best character in the Mario world... as a cute girl.

I also feel that the sheer fact that the Super Mushroom raises so many fucking questions about Peach (WHICH ARTISTS SHOULD BE EXPLORING! Where's Toad Peach, Role Swap AUs, were Mario and Luigi Toads too) and the lore at large being overlooked is a simply criminal fact as well.

Also, Spider-Man PS4? Pretty dang good.
 
I think the design is how Bowser would look as Peach. It's Peach with...
-Horns
-Fangs
-Shell
-Sharp nails
-Thicker eyebrows
-Spiked accessories
-Black dress

...Also frankly. Way less people care about Mario lore than characters who are cute girls.

Well Baby Peach exists so I don't think Peach = a Toad/Toadette is true, though I do like to think that Toadette takes over the kingdom when Peach is on one of her many vacations/kidnappings. That's just my hot take though.

Also Spider-Man tis good, but way to short, even for 100% IMO
 
Spider-Man PS4 was basically made to be the Iron Man of a Marvel Gaming Universe. It had to set things up and prove that yes, this could be a thing.
Later on there will probably be more Marvel Games set in the same universe.

Intelligent Systems found their cash cow and is too busy milking the hell out of it to ever revisit their old IPs.

Maybe if they add facerubbing PdP can get the waifu audience.
 
No Playstation Experience this year, which is honestly kinda a bummer.
But in the grand scheme of things, this makes me worry.
Are they working on PS5? Are there not many more PS4 games very far into development?
I wouldn't accept a PS5 until at least 2020, or 2021.

Well, Nintendo already had a concept of her in the Super Mario Odyssey official art book.

Instead of the crown, Bowser would use his version of Cappy and possess Peach.

Got addicted to Pathfinder Kingmaker these days. It has its... uhm... fair share of bugs, or at least it did on launch. The devs are furiously patching and ironing every bug reported. Has anyone here tried it yet?
 
Call of Cthulhu came out today.
Played the first 6 chapters, personally, I think it's pretty good, it's first person Investigation and RPG-like areas are really good.
But warning, around Chapter 5, it turns to really not fun Outlast type shit.
Not game damning, but still pretty not fun.

So, a rather unexpected and "huh" move, Microsoft is holding an Xbox Event today, presumably, this is them trying to do PSX type stuff, trying to announce a ton of stuff at once to build hype for their console, which I think is rather difficult given the state the Xbox one is in.
I'm willing to give it a chance.

It's called "Inside Xbox"
And It starts at 4 PM EST/3PM CST

So weird, I've seen virtually no promotion or hype for this, but apparently we'll get some more DMC 5 news there?
Maybe even some V gameplay.
