i preferred her old form because at least it doesn't look so plain in comparison to the new one. I agree that she looks like a Tim Burton reject now especially with that color scheme rather then a genuine GG character. Not to mention if her personality really didn't change and is not an edge lord like initially thought then her first outfit suits her more.
Did you play the story mode? Honestly I think this outfit color scheme and theme wise fits into the GG universe much more than her last outfit, which was very pretty but not as "guilty gear" I felt honestly.

I'm surprised this wasn't' her original design to be perfectly honest, it seems much more fitting for her story but maybe not her surface level personality.
 
I would be fine with the new look if it was her original design and she didn't look so lifeless.

I like the new collar. it's cute.

also, I finally got Xrd (better late than never) and I have to say, I like the game, but it's really hard to pick a main.

I'm probably gonna lean towards Sin, maybe pick up Ky, Slayer, or Milia. I also am interested to learn Ramlethal since she plays really interestingly.

I hate new May. the fact that she doesn't have the spinning attack just kills any desire to play her now.

also, I like Elphelt, but I'm just not used to keepaway characters.
even though she's not entirely keepaway.
also, I am not a fan of using the sniper rifle because of the aiming.

no. I don't like Axl.
I also don't like his new shorts. I can respect other people liking them, but I prefer Union Jack shirt Axl with a red long sleeved shirt.
I will say I kinda like Chipp and Venom though.
chipp especially since it feels like he doesn't have an emphasis on aerials.

her thighs seem a teeny bit thicker.

so, yeah, I can definitely say I like Sin. I just need to learn when it's a good time to fill his food meter.

and I know I've got the unpopular opinion when I say this, but I like the English voice acting.

especially on Elphelt and Sin. they sound great. especially when English Elphelt is the announcer and she yells "ME!" when she announces herself. I also love Sean Connery Slayer. I can't help but say "damn you and your daily danger times" whenever I hear him.

and yes, Chipp's is the best. the guy just delivers really well. I also like Venom's. he just gives off this suave cool guy vibe.

I grew up in a strict Christian home and went to a Christian school. Being gay, I know the worst of it lol. Once I got sent to the headmasters office for suggesting that people were born gay.
 
let's just keep it at that and talk about Guilty Gear. no offense to you, I just don't wanna run the risk of getting the thread locked.

I really need to learn Millia's stuff. she just feels so weird yet natural. I also need to put in some time with Slayer.

I wish the DL forums were a little better for learning characters. There are some nice guides on there for some characters (I remember a really in-depth one for A.B.A) but that place is usually a mess of scattered information.
 
Sin and Elph both are best girls.
they should totally lesbo with each other.

The Dub ain't all bad, there are plenty of great performances among the cast, and most of the notable miscasts are only noticeable in Story Mode rather than gameplay.
 
The English voice acting is good, but some of the voices sound off. Potemkin doesn't sound deep enough and Venom sounds way too young.
 
the worst of the English cast is May and Potemkin.
May's is too low and Potemkin is too high.
Potemkin should sound like a big gruff guy, he's too smooth in english.
and May is a loli so she should have a young sounding voice.
 
Potemkin with a smooth voice is fine it just needs to be an octave lower. And I like May's English voice is better than the Japanese one.

my ideal Potemkin voice will always be Chris Sabat. I can only imagine the piccolo voice coming out of Potemkin for it to sound good.
 
I'd prefer Barry White Potemkin over Piccolo Potemkin.

I think the scene works even better because she looks ten and sounds 22 (which she is) so her having that voice makes the confusion work even better imo

I love Yuri Lowenthal and he does a decent Bedmen, but I get this feeling there coulda been better casting for Bedman.

I always thought the game was shipping him with elphelt.
 
it does feel like a love triangle a bit.
I mean they both were part of the obligatory montage.
I burst out laughing at a game with this kind of story just suddenly throwing that in there.
